As a general rule of caution, do not open attachments!
In this case and others, you can copy and paste the message into the Google search bar and you will find lots of reports warning that it is a hoax. Try it. I just did and wow, lots of people received the same message.
AGREED!!! I also NEVER open email I'm unsure of - I right click it and check properties. I see if the return path is the same/correct, and BLINGO it if I'm unsure.
FYI, if you have the preview pane on in your email you DON'T have to open the email to get infected - so you need to close that ASAP.
Click on View, then Layout. UNcheck the preview pane box and hit OK (if you hit apply, you will still have to hit OK)
