I enter over 400 every day and so far this YEAR I've only won a $100 GC to Sportsman's Guide and an Olympic pin group (woo-hoo!). Oh, sorry, I forgot about the $10 Pep Boys GC for entering an essay about my dad.
I don't know how many years I've been sweeping, but, I won 2 trips in 1993 and another in 2001. It's the memory of those that keeps me going. For now, though, I'm in a huge slump. This, too, shall pass.

7 months and NO WIN as of yet very peeved and annoyed I wnat to give up but feel like a sucker if I do or don't....how does every1 else here end up winning like crazy...I have no net access at home unemployed can't afford cable or net access and can't even win a lousy computer...this bites...OK I am done blowing off steam yet again.....Whew :roll:  |

I personally count every win (like d/ld's, & coupons - those little wins are what keep me going :wink: ) while others don't count prizes worth less than, say $50 or $100.
Hey, maybe we should have a contest for whoever goes the longest without any win? :wink:
I have some Kodak codes left - if you want to win them, just preface your post in this thread with "CONTEST ENTRY" and I'll have my cat pick a name out of a hat (from those in the worst slump) for the winner!!! :lol:

sweeps777 ~ I am so glad to see you posting! I thought you had quit on us. I was just thinking about you a couple of nights ago, but things have been so hectic at my house that I haven't been able to do true detective work to see when you were on last.
YOU CAN NOT GIVE UP!!! I was so down before I won in the Napa contest. I was ready to throw in the towel. Last night I won in the Country Crock Sweeps so it can be done. I know it is especially hard for you with the circumstances that you are facing, but it will happen.
Which instants are you entering? Maybe it you make a list, some of us can tell you how we have been doing on that sweeps and you can decide if you want to continue doing that sweeps or not. I only play 3 pages on the IWG's because it takes so much time. I weed them out by prizes available, prizes (if I would like to win that prize), ease of entry, and finally by the buzz on SA. Lot's of people won from Kodak and I had terrible time with that one (Thanks again, Amy!!), but I did keep on trying because members had such good luck with it.
We will help you anyway that we can!! Don't give up!!!

I agree with Tammy, don't give up ! you having to enter sweeps other than from home makes it more challanging. some of us spend hours a day on sweeps and some enter once and win the first try.It is an odds game and someone wins so enter for what you want and give the instant wins a try from time to time. good luck- Lee

Arty, Ping, & ll1=> you guys are truly sweet.....but I laid off this sweeping stuff for a tiny while I am back on the wagon....don't worry...once an addict always an addict.....I just love to vent on this particular thread sorry for being such a sweeping sourpuss..... but with all the one sweep entries I keep entering for not one win not one tiny LOUSY win has come to my door.....it HURTS I realize this isn't life or death but sweeping is my drug LOL so to speak...not feeling so darn high anymore....just going through the motions...LMAO I need professional sweeping help...LOL to the ones who question why I only enter one time sweeps its because I don't have net access at home (plus tired of wasting my life's blood and energy wondering if today I will win a prize from an instant sweeps; sorry that's my feeling towarsd it and I am sticking by it) and I am not allowed to have net access at home otherwise my unemployed self would not leave the house is what the family keeps saying to me pish posh to that dumb comment but whateva.......so I go to public libraries that don't have filters on for not being allowed to sweeps and I am down to one last public library that's pretty out of my way but when I make it there I enter hard or I enter nothing at all.... but thanks for the support you guys...holding out on winning a lousy 60 gb ipod I so badly want....to win not buy pple LOL so dead broke I wnat to win a lousy nano ipod I am so sad.....I even by pass the shuffle ipods LOL anyway love u guys talk to you soon....;) |

you may also try the daily entry's just to get an entry into them. it does only take oneentry to win. I have not won on a 1 time yet but have on instants many a time I have won on a monthly sweep but it is all on who gets drawn good luck |

This is the thread that we whine on and I think its great to have one. I've not had a win for quite awhile now but don't ever think of quitting. Oh a vacation might not hurt but not out and out quitting. We love misery and from the looks of it we individuals are not alone. Someday something will come along that has our name on it SO GO AHEAD AND WHINE!! I do, and enjoy reading all the posts on this subject.

For some reason, I try to save which ones I enter. But it won't let me. So I dont know how many I have entered tiffandrock, have you done this: When you are logged in, you click on Remove from My Sweepstakes to change it to Add to My Sweepstakes then you either click the SAVE MY SWEEPSTAKES button, or, refresh the page ONLY if you allow popups on this site. Same with using the SweepsCheck√ - use it to mark those you've entered/looked at and DON'T wish to enter, then you either click the SAVE MY SWEEPSTAKES button, or, refresh the page ONLY if you allow popups on this site. I'm here to cheer you up. Enter local contests, your chances of winning are much higher. I win alot of local contests. such as local newspapers, local radio stations, supermarkets. local tv stations, etc. they all have websites, and contests. the number of people entering is much lower than web wise. I highly recommend local contests.
I have only been sweeping for about 3 years. My very first win was a boyds bear pin (which I loved because I collect them.) Then I won a midevil sword, Excalibur. I have it hanging in my computer room.
My favorite win I've ever had is a local win. I won a trip into Manhattan (limo ride) dinner at a expensive restaurant on Madison Ave, and 6th row tickets to a show at Carnegie Hall. All on Valentine's Day. That was a great night. that was from a local magazine.
I won a $200. gift card to Target.
I have won locally radio stations, tickets to go to the movies (alot), tickets to plays. I won DVDs (I just won the first season of Weeds, local contest)
$100.00 in scratch off tickets.
Supermarkets, I won $150 in food gift certificates.
Local newspaper I won 2 tickets to Ringling Bros. Circus.
I won 4 tickets to see Sarah Hughes Stars and Stripes Ice Skating tour. (that was great) that was a local radio station.
I win mostly on instant sweeps and monthly. Never won anything weekly.
Instant sweeps I win alot , way too much to list. (and I don't want to bring you down) But , they've been really good wins, some expensive, and honestly, aside from the presents, I enjoy getting the free coupons and products, they save alot in grocery shopping bills. I appreciate the free coupon products.
My advice for the instants is to play everyday. You will win eventually. I hope this helps. good luck , and keep sweeping.

oh thanks, you make me feel so much better knowing someone is lucky,when all i get is nair,which i more than likely wont use,some toy cars from penske,which havent arrived,some cookbooks from rhodes, wonder where they are?maybe in the neighbors box! a sleep shirt that will fill the grand canyon,oh and not to mention a subscription to esquire, and iam all girl, though i did get a couple of wins from kodax,which i liked! so i guess i will hold out and wait for the big one. and keep trying! 8)

I suppose I will have to resign from the "Slump" club. I won a Scare-Crow; a contraption for your garden that squirts 2 cups of water at offending birds or animals. I, personally, don't keep a garden, but, my dad is the master organic gardener, so, I guess he gets it. I will reap the benefits, I'm sure, as now my tomatoes won't come with holes in them!
