May I join your Sweeps Slump Club?  Coke has been very good to me in the past but I cant even get a win there lately.  I want to whine to someone but hubby just doesn't understand.  Ever since the Easter Mars contest ended I cant buy a win.  Hoping a rant will kick start something for me.  Thank you for giving us a place to put our rants.

Oh. pity me, I haven't won anything in 3 mths. Last post was a win for a floor cleaner and I complained rather being joyful to the fact that I had won , something. You reckon that these sponsors monitor thses Forums? I am getting so paranoid. Anyways, I won't complain anymore, just let me win. So sorry, Shaw floor cleaners, your product was really awsome, really. I just don't like to clean floors. OOps!!

I must be the unluckiest person EVER. I started entering sweepstakes at the beginning of the year, won a DVD after about a week and was so excited because I thought my luck was turning around. Since then NOTHING.....and I literally enter HUNDREDS of sweepstakes every single day. Ugh, I'm getting really frustrated. Maybe I should just quit wasting my time and actually spend it with my family instead, hee hee!! Was hoping to win a family cruise for that :-)   

I remember when I noticed that - about 1 month in I think? 

It was incredibly frustrating because there wasn't anybody who bothered to point out that it just seemed that that was true - that because so many didn't post wins, the ones who did seemed to win ALL the time!

I also later experienced it - after about 6 months, I finally won, then it was like the dam broke, and I'd win lots of little prizes, numerous times a week - sometimes in one day!!!

Of course, this ended, but it sure was fun! Then I went through a 6 week drought, ended by my first big win, a $700 camera, and I remember thinking, I'd rather win less often if they were bigger & better prizes.

Anyway, I came up with the sweepers credo to try to get this across to other sweepers - what others' do really doesn't matter:

 
Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.   

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.
 
Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!! 

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! 

ALSO: Some see sweeping as a zero sum game, where if I win, you lose, but I view it a bit differently - opportunities abound for those willing to commit the time & energy, and while it doesn't give a return equal to our input, if we are consistent, persistent, and patient, the possibilities are endless!!!

I can't win anything!!! I have been doing this for 4 years, enter ALL the one entries, and probably about 100 daily contests a week. And I have won about 8 things..... The most valuable being $100. I think it is about time to give up. I am just not lucky
