A while back the TV show "Wife Swap" did an episode where the one couple were avid sweepers.  I was wondering if they were members here  popcorn

It kind of took a turn for the worse for them though.  The sweeper from the "other" site promoted herself being on "Wife Swap", so her co-members would tune in to watch.  On the show, they came across as over-the-top nut jobs.  The prizes they did win were small things and not that many.  Members gave her a lot of heat after viewing the show seeing what she made her husband and children do which included digging through public garbage cans for various codes.

Oh, and I remember another thing she did.  They would go out and buy products just for the codes needed to enter sweepstakes even if they didn't use the product.  Kind of defeats the purpose! laughing

If anyone got to read any of the postings after the show, you wouldn't have needed to watch a single episode.  The members brought up and scrutinized every part of that particular "Wife Swap"! popcorn

I have thought of that show a lot since I started sweeping and wondered the same thing! They were pretty strange characters....lol laughing

Well since balloon boy's family was on wife swap it kind of makes you wonder about that show.

I saw that episode right when I first started sweeping and I was like  hmmmmmm maybe this isn't for me lol  I have since realized that couple is not the norm.
