how do you get an F in PE/health? By not coming prepared with gym clothes and/or not participating. It's easy (at least here) to get a B or C if you aren't talented at sports, but lower than a C is almost always non-cooperation.

well I called the school and the women went over each class that she is failing and told me what she has scored on homework and test.. she was very helpful. Keely (my daughter) is all over the place.. one day she will score a 93 out of 100 and the next a 30 out of 100.. thats how it was in every single class she is failing. That tells me she is just saying hell with it on some days. Its obviously very similar material from day to day so if she scores really high one day and really low the next its due to lack of effort on her part. Its gotta be. The teachers are going to call me and Im going to set up a meeting with all of them. I also asked the lady at the school to print out her grades and mail them so I can see if there is some correlation with her bad days.. Is she doing bad in all the classes on a specific day? Im also signing her up for after school tutoring.. yes, she is going to love me today.

My gripe: I don't like my neighbor's kid. He and my son are about the same age, and he shows up at our door more than I would like. I have taken to locking the door at all times because he simply walks right in. He's four and is old enough to know better. I do like his mom though, and we stood at the door talking for a few minutes. In the ten minutes that I wasn't watching him, he went into my older sons room (forbidden, and he knows it, was taking advantage of being unwatched), found a can of silly string, and shot it all over the room. Later, I caught him hiding under my dining room table with candy that he had taken out of my kids' Halloween stash. He takes out every darn toy in the house without putting any away, grabs things away from my son, and whines and cries when he doesn't get his way. I feel my blood pressure climbing when this kid is around. For his part, my son is loud, kinda bossy, and not a good cleaner upper either, but I'd never trade!

I ask because hormones play havoc, and could be the factor causing her malaise/inattention. Or it could be a cute boy she's distracted by {I know - waaaaaaay too early, but you never know!} Or or - hey, where's red - she'd know better than I!!!

Aaargh!!! Parents that don't teach their kids the sharing & personal space concepts drive me nuts!!! Just imagine those brats as adults - makes me shudder!!!

Can I come to? I will have to drink coke but I just wanna sit and talk to you...I don't know if you always mean to be funny, but I think me and you would get along just fine. Just don't use a straw...stinking through a straw would put me over the edge...
