sunny Talked to my son tonight and he had a job interview today. He has been laid off for 6 months now. Saying my prayers for him tonight. If you're still up reading this I would sure appreciate any prayers for him. The bright side to him being laid off during this time is that he has been able to spend nearly everyday going to see his grandmother (on his dad's side) and running errands for her. She is dying of cancer and probably won't make it thru the end of the month.

I am going to say a prayer right now.

Father in heaven we know you are a God who answers prayer. We know you are our provider and we know you have a plan for each and everyone of us. Lord I ask that you will show favor for this young man and that he will get a job offer that will meet his needs. Let this be the job he desires and deserves. Give him the news he wants to hear and bless him in the area of needing to provide for his needs. We thank you Lord for answered prayer Amen.

Oh, Pam, I just saw this.  Although the job loss has probably been hard on him, I am sure he is thrilled to be able to spend this time with his grandmother.  I guess that is the silver lining in the cloud.

I hope his interview went well.  I will say a prayer for him and his job search.  I really do hope he is enjoying the wonderful opportunity he has had to share this time with his grandmother.   Smile

Waving Thanks everyone for your prayers. When I talked to him Sunday he told me that he didn't get the job. He had been praying about it and figured that since he didn't get the job that he was meant to stay with his grandma. Tonight my granddaughter called crying. Their grandma passed away. She had stayed with her 8 hours yesterday. I finally was able to get her to stop crying. We will all miss their grandma.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours. I am so glad you were able to comfort your granddaughter. Loss of life can be so hard and that's when it's so important to turn to Jesus. God bless  love

This song is so appropriate.

I put on my prayer list as well. At times like this, it's hard to find the words to say to comfort you and your family! I will keep all of you on our list. God Bless
