My daughter and I watch it religiously. We even watch the original on BBC america. We love him!. Thats about the only show I can get her to sit down and watch with me. I know people say he is mean but I dont think so. I think he is honest. And it doesnt hurt that he is really, really attractive. From what I read in tv guide this week should be very good.

I used to watch the BBC one all the time, but I do think he has gotten a little bit more "mean" on the American one! I am sure it is for ratings or that they cut it together so it looks worse. But I do think the American version is a bit more confrontational than the BBC one.
I do still like the original BBC version better than the American one. It seems like he was more invested in the results, instead of "playing" a character. It seems to me has gotten hug from producers that "They love you being an a**hole .... just do it every chance you can!!" And I wouldn't doubt that the restaurant owners are also being egged on by producers to get as upset as possible.

Its a TV show starring Gordon Ramsey. I actually watched Kitchen Nightmares tonight. I was glad that Irish Family was able to keep their business they seemed liked nice people.

I watch all of Gordon Ramsey's shows, if possible. I like his honesty and his style. Now, if all the local health inspectors were as brutally honest when they inspect restaurants.......

Right, thats what I like too. It seems some of the reality shows are to rehearsed or "directed" . With his nightmares show it does not seem like these restaurant owners have time to develop their acting skills. Not to mention some of them are ready to lose their homes and businesses.

I have been watching, but I have to tell ya, as much as I love watching when I see spoiled rotten food and dirty filthy kitchens it just makes me gag. I love seeing the changes that Gordan makes to help them make their restaurants a success. There is always someone that thinks that they already know everything and yet he always seems to be able to get them to come around.

Okay, who watched Kitchen Nightmares tonight? The episode was about Lela's. Wow...what a arrogantly rude, so-called Executive Chef. Ramsey was correct...the guy was not Executive Chef material. Squeezing Hershey's Chocolate Syrup from a bottle onto his rack of lamb bones was hilarious! Fine dining, indeed.... Of course, I was not too keen on Ramsey's idea of the perfect burger. It was nothing more than meatloaf shaped into a burger and grilled. Yuck! And the owner...yikes. She evidently was a pushover, to allow the Chef and his crew (especially Buzzard) to get by with doing so little; and she should have fired Buzzard long ago for theft of food product. Not looked nicely upon in any business, "grazing", or eating food without paying for it at the place you work (whether it be a restaurant or convenience store), is simply theft...and it becomes expensive to the owner at time goes by.

It was a good one last night. I felt bad that it closed down. The chef was arogant but I thought he shaped up at the end. I cracked up when he put herseys syrup on the lamb. That waitress. wow! I wanted to smack her. And I wouldnt have let the one guy come back. Screaming that he needed a break. are ya kidding me. hit the road buddy!!

Wow! Tonight's episode of Kitchen Nightmares was great! First of, there were nothing but a bunch of kids running that restaurant! Good grief...more fooling around went on there than work, and it showed. I'm surprised that the owner didn't understand this. And, it is always nice to have a well-stocked cooler, but geez...! What a waste of food. Speaking of waste, those perfectly nice, large white dishes could have been donated to charity, or anyone who could actually use them. I would like to have about 8 of those plates... I like the larger serving size of the plates. With smaller plates, a steak and a baked potato would fill the plate. I want a trough big enough to hold all my food. And I liked the way Chef Ramsey spoke to that rude old woman in the restaurant. It was great...he called her "an old bag".

That was funny. Then afterwards the fight outside with the other lady. I wonder if they will stay in business? He is over 100K in debt. It would probably take over a year to get out of that . I don't know if they have the management skills and determination to pull it off. There was one other episode where they said the business went under despite what Ramsey did. I think it was the LA one with the chocolate lamb chops.

Okay, who saw tonight's episode? It was called "La Parria Barrias", or something like that. It cracked me up when Gordon Ramsey called the place "La Casa de Shithole". Did you see that kabob thingy the chef was serving when Ramsey first ordered? As Ramsey stated, it looked like a donkey dong, swinging from the kabob holder... At least the newly-hired Chef got the place going.

I don't know, but if I see one more restaurant with rotten, moldy, maggot filled food, I may never eat in a restaurant again! I don't know why anyone would eat at any of these places that Gordan revamps. If they allowed their kitchens and food to get so disgusting once, they will do it again. Ewww!

Gordon Ramsey is like the Chef version of that Drill Sergeant in Full Metal Jacket!
Very entertaining show, both BBC and american versions.

Well, last night's episode was a repeat from 2004. It featured The Glass House restaurant. A pretty good show...but after all that Ramsey did for that place, when he returned to see how the place was running, he saw that the old chef was still there (he should have been canned by the owner), the old chef had returned to placing foods in nasty-looking plastic buckets in the kitchen, and the old chef had added a couple of items to Ramsey's new menu...which didn't set well with Ramsey...

Another great episode! This one was called "The Secret Garden". It involved this arrogant French "chef", his nasty food, and his filthy, moldy kitchen...AACK! Gordon had it out with the Frenchie...dropped his arrogance down a few notches.

Frenchie was lucky that Ramsey came back before the food critic got that pile of weeds he was preparing.

Yes, he'll be back! There was a big news event a week or so ago...in which it appears that Chef Ramsey is possibly coming to Little Rock for a show. Several Little Rock restaurants are courting him to work his magic on their establishments. We'll see....

Kitchen Nightmares was good Thursday night. The episode was called "The Granary"....the kitchen staff included a head chef and three late teen/20-ish British guys. At one point in the show, one of the cheeky little teen cooks told Gordon to "f**k off". OMG...I though Gordon would come across the table/prep stand and begin flogging the kid...
