Kitchen Nightmares was good Thursday night.  The episode was called "The Granary"....the kitchen staff included a head chef and three late teen/20-ish British guys.  At one point in the show, one of the cheeky little teen cooks told Gordon to "f**k off".  OMG...I though Gordon would come across the table/prep stand and begin flogging the kid... laughing

We are getting them all taped on the DVR now. We shouldn't miss any BBC or US ones. There was a really good one on BBC where there was an ex boxer and his wife running a restaurant and they were always fighting with each other.

I think they showed a preview on Fox. Cockroaches.. shiver... I can not eat in an establishment that has had them, they are dirty things. I'm talking about places that are overrun with them. blech

Last week's episode of Kitchen Nightmares took place at the Handlebar in New Jersey.  This restaurant was FILTHY!  OMG, the brown and black gooey stuff that Gordon Ramsey scraped out of the coolers and out of the fryers/ovens....gross.  And once again, there was a dipweed owner (male, of course) who thought his place was "the bomb", but couldn't figure out why they couldn't get customers to eat there anymore.

Is it my imagination or is Ramsey more laid back. He is not nearly as nasty as last year. He isnt cussing as much and not really going off on the people like he did before.  not saying thats what I want him to do or anything   whistle   He just seems different.
