This is non-sweeps related.

Today has been a less than par day for me. This morning I lost my car key (not keys... only the car key). Upon finding them in the bushes in front of my apartment, I slammed the car door into my foot trying to not be late to my internship. I scratched my car door in the parking deck and forgot my lunch. I donated $50 to my friend's TFA class and another girl with my initials took credit (the nerve of her!) for my donation when my friend thanked her.

On the bright side, (although not brag worthy) I did win a Nesquik ringtone this morning, so that has to account for something, right?

 3some

Some days are full of bad things, but you have the right idea, seeing something on the bright side. Keep your face turned toward the sun...keep things in perspective, and yes, share the good and bad with friends/peers...as you have done!

tongue2 Some days are like that, but not matter how bad you think it is, just know someone else's day was alot worse.  You lost your key, lucky you as that means you have a car.  You may have forgot your lunch, but you know you have food waiting for you. Someone took credit for your good deed. Random acts of kindness are there own reward.  I'm guessing alot of people would trade places with you!! Wishing you a brighter day tomorrow!

schwinny - I hate those "out of step" days!!!  cry crazy tongue

When I have a day like that, I work hard to do as you did - look on the bright side

But *sometimes* {if it keeps happening} I realize there's something I haven't resolved {needed to apologize for a wrong, forgot to pay a bill, etc.} so I try to figure out what it is so I can resolve it - that usually gets me back on track!  whistle

Here's hoping you were just out of kilter and things have returned to normal!!!  headbang

Thank you for the pep talk, everyone. I arrived home late last night and my special someone brought me home a bouquet of flowers. I called it an early day and went to bed. Woke up this morning feeling like the windshield today.

Hope you all have lots of wins this week! Smile
