and im a little sad about it.  cry  he is six today which is a great age and im happy he is happy that he is older.  laughing  But, he doesnt like thomas the train anymore. I know, sounds stupid but the kid loved all things thomas for four years. He has it all. clothes, bedding, lamp, backpack, the trains, dvd's you name it he has it. He hasnt played with his trains in months. Its all Transformers now. I gotta go into his room today and take out the thomas stuff and box it all up. He wants his transformer bedding and toys displayed instead. I mean the kid was obsessed with it. We have spent a couple(or three)  thousand dollars at least on the stuff and now I get to put it all away and start over.  He wasnt like my other two who changed their minds about what they liked every two months. four years!! birthdays, xmas, and just because, it was thomas.  Im such a baby.  cry

Our daughter is in her Strawberry Shortcake phase at 3 1/2.  We just got the bedding, a doll, coloring book, hat, and a few dvd's.  Mine all went through phases, but they lasted for a long time.  That was with the boys.  I don't know how long this Strawberry Shortcake phase will last though.  Hopefully, awhile.

hopefully it will last awhile. It gets expensive if you have to change it all the time. That's why my two oldest never had any character bedding. They didn't stick with anything long enough to justify the expense

That's why we didn't get too much of it, and she's going to have to live with the bedding for at least three years! popcorn

Smile i had the same thing with my son who will turn 9 next month,  but all of his stuff was bob the builder or anything green. luckily he still likes green but bob the builder all of that stuff went away three years ago. Its hard to watch them grow up.

Both of my girl have Hello Kitty right now and of course with Caitlyn being 14 she is ready to move on...she still likes Hello Kitty, but she just doesn't want her bedding and room done in it.  She is in that in between stage ~ I can't complain though ~ she has had her bedding set for almost 4 1/2 years now and it is in great shape ~ so we got our moneys worth out of it.  I got it for a really good deal at Target and she has been thrilled with it.  Now she is wanting something a little more grown up.  I can understand that also...we have been looking for her something that both me and her can agree on.

Ashelyn has decided that she wants to change all her room to Littlest Pet Shop ~ we just got the Hello Kitty about 2 years ago so I'm not sure that is up for talks yet...she had Winnie the Pooh for about 6 years so I guess we have done pretty good with bedding on most accounts.  Ashelyn is more likely to want to change again in a couple of years than Caitlyn though ~ Caitlyn doesn't want the hassle ~ she would rather keep her room clean than to have to clean it ~lol!!  She is so funny!

Oh ~ don't get Caitlyn started on "Hannah"...she makes fun of me watching it...I love the show, can't help it.  I'm just a goofball.  She says I'm a 10 year old laughing

She is liking something like this now ~ (sorry about the 10 mile link!)
