Received my Mascara box from the L'Oreal instant win game, think there are 30,000 winners. Anyhow my box had been opened and the mascara was gone. It didn't open by itself either, as there is alot of glue on flap. Oh well, guess someone really really wanted mascara.

That would make me feel cheated also.. can you contact your post office and show them what arrived? Perhaps they will write a report about the carrier in suspect.. hate for you to have it happen again later.. just a thought..

I'm sorry to hear that... I've been a FedEx driver for 10 years now and have never had a complaint of a package missing or the package contents missing!! I'm proud of the job I have and there is nothing on my truck worth loosing my job over!!  |

I received mine via regular mail so it would've been the mailman or maybe they never put anything in the box to begin with? Good luck and I hope you still get it.

Stealing mail is a federal crime so it is highly unlikely a mail carrier is going to take your mascara and risk the penalty. More than likely the box came open while being processed through the mailing system and the contents simple fell out.

I would imagine that the companies hire many temporary employees when they have these contests, to process, box and prepare for mailings. I don't want to say that temp employees as a whole cannot be trusted, but I would imagine that there are several steps where this could have been opened and taken. A shame for you. I hope you receive a positive response from the company and get your mascara.

I received mine last Monday. The box in came in was pretty beat up when it arrived,but the mascara was in there.

Just received mine in the mail today...but it was addressed to someone else!! It had my address but
the name on it was nothing like mine.... I'm guessing Santa's helpers got into the egg nog early!
