Is it possible to transfer your OS to a new drive without the OEM disk? I have a bigger HD on another computer that I want to put my existing Windows XPpro on. I don't have the disk as this computer was given to me.

I'm not sure your level of technical know how. Its becoming harder to do this especially with vista. If you don't want to be aggravated I would call Microsoft and have them send you a new disk. It might cost a few dollars for the replacement. I just recently moved a hard drive to a new system/motherboard and Microsoft
wanted me to confirm that I had a genuine copy. I ended up buying a new copy of Vista because I didn't have the disk because it was oem and didn't have the cd key sticker.

If you have the Microsoft label on the side of your computer with the CD Key they should be able to
send you a replacement disk. Make note of this key before you call MS Support.
