As I open your website to sweep for the day, I start out with whats "New". Then I switch over to"My Sweeps". I don't know whats going on, but as long as I'm entering from new or another source, I'm fine entering your sweeps. But as soon as I attempt to open "My Sweeps" my computer tells me theres been an error and needs to close. This happened to me 3x in a row. It completely closed up all of SA & the internet. I have no problems again with other areas of SA or other IE programs, just when I attempt to open "My Sweeps". Any help you can give me is appreciated.  Thanks, Kashteen1 |

I don't get knocked offline but when I'm on one of "my sweepstakes" pages I get an error when trying to click to the next page. Something about navigating away from the page. I have found that if I click blue "save my sweeps" bar it allows me to go to the next page. I have yet to figure out why I need to click the blue "save my sweeps" bar if I already have the sweeps saved in "my sweepstakes".  |

You are getting that warning because you have unsaved My Sweepstakes or SweepsCheck changes. This is why you have to click Save. If you allow pop-ups from SA you will not get that message because the auto save pop up window will automaticly save your work when you switch pages.  |

sweepsadv, Thanks! Yes, I used to get the box at the corner of my screen when I clicked the date that I entered a sweep. I had forgotten that I had recently turned on my pop-up blocker. Problem fixed!! Thanks!!  |

I started getting this again, where it completely shuts down my internet service, when I try to change pages that is. I have to go back to the internet ,then to SA all over again. This has just started happening today only, so I don't quite know what could be causing this. But I do know it has something to do with this website. It's not a box like "Are you sure you want to change pages without saving your changes?" It is an actual error from the internet. It too comes in a small box and states " Were sorry for the inconvenience, but this page needs to close". (Or something similar) and it closes the whole web-site and no it doesn't save any of my changes for me, it just shuts down the internet service all together and if I choose to I have to start it back up all together again.

Can you write down the actual error message when you receive it next time and post it or email it to me? Thank you. After I replied back yesterday it didn't happen again, until 1st thing this morning. And again this only happens when I switch pages on SA. So heres the information requested

I am having an entirely different problem. When I do a page of sweeps, check the boxes for the date and time then click "save my sweeps" it either tells me I should either click cancel to not duplicate info or retry. Which ever I choose it puts all the dates and times back to where they were (4/24) before I entered today. This is in the DVD/CD section. I had already done the others for today and it worked fine so I don't know if it is just this section or the whole site.

Also, for every listing in my saved sweeps it had where is says the category, i.e. DVD Sweepstakes, the words DVD Sweepstakes are purple like a clicked link instead of blue like the rest of the listing

I just started having a problem today. When in My SA I can enter the first page of my sweeps but when I try to click on page 2 or 3 etc. I get this message -

Same here. I cannot go to the second page of my Daily Sweeps, or my DVD Sweeps. I get this error message:

Let me check this out. We did make some major changes that were very necessary. They were all tested on our test site but there are always some things that only come up because no 2 PC's are alike. Please clear your IE or web browser cache in the meantime so that you pick up the new changes and are not stuck in the middle. |

I received the error message when I sorted my Daily Sweepstakes by "Expiration Date," "Ascending."
I just tried it by "Name," "Descending," and went to page two, no error message. Now I will try sorting other ways and post if they result in error messages.

I just methodically went down the list and sorted my Daily Sweeps with every possibility, plus Ascending, then Descending. The only times I got the error message was sorting by Expiration Date, both Ascending and Descending. Hope the information is helpful, and thanks for getting to it so quickly! |

Thanks for testing this. Its hard to test for everything sometimes. I am going to work this out on the test site and hopefully have a fix quickly. The saving problem that some were having should be fixed. I was experimenting with some javascript to make the saving more reliable and it was buggy so I removed that. Thank You. |

I can click "Add to My Sweepstakes" but it doesn't show up in my saved sweepstakes. So I've tried clicking "Add to My Sweepstakes" then clicking the "Save my Sweepstakes" bar. I then get the following error box: "The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information. Click Retry to send the information again, or click cancel to return to the page that you were trying to view." Both ways that I have tried will not add this Sweeps/ Instant Win to "My Sweepstakes". I use Internet Explorer and have never received this problem before.  |

Things were just fine before. I know SA wants to upgrade the site but this has messed up so many people. I just realized that my one entry sweeps aren't being saved to "My Sweepstakes" either. I had no problem before when I entered the date of a sweep I entered, clicked add to my sweeps, got the little box in the corner of my screen as it was saving them. Now I get nothing ( pop-up blocker is off ). Can't we just change back to the way things were before when it was so much easier? It seems that all these changes have made SA more complicated instead of user friendly. http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/search.php <----- Link no good Seached "skittles" . It the only sweep/IW current active. |
