For some reason the Skittles Sweep/ IW just now finally saved. Got the small box in the corner of my screen and it's now in my instant wins. But box is not showing up on the single entry sweeps and saving them.  |

The web browsers are becoming more secure and blocking many pop ups on their own without pop up blockers installed. I noticed lately that the latest version of Firefox seems to be blocking the auto save pop up window sometimes. ( This is with legacy code not from any recent changes ) . Unfortunately nothing stays static online and we have to update to stay compatible with web browsers. I will look into the pop ups and see if I can get them to work some other way where they don't get blocked. The alternative of coarse is to just click the "save my sweepstakes" button.
Please also indicate what page on SA you are on when you are trying to add to my sweepstakes and what web browser version you are using. This info is vital to trouble shooting any problems. Thank you.

Internet Explorer 6.0 w/ service pack 2 running Windows XP.
Was on todays single entry sweeps when I noticed I wasn't getting the bottom corner auto pop up box saving the sweeps after I checked the date box. Went to "My Sweepstakes" and sure enough they had not been saved.

P.S. My Windows XP pop up blocker is off.

Now I can't save the Pepsistuff.Com - Music And More SweepstakesSame problem as when I tried to save the previous Skittles Sweeps/ IW. Clicked the entry date but no autosave pop up box in the corner of my screen saving this sweep when I navigate away from page. When I click "Add to My Sweepstakes" then click the "Save My Sweepstakes" Banner it acts as though I'm trying to refresh the page and still won't save the sweep. I cleared all my cookies and temp files including offline content just incase you changed anything. But still no such luck. Windows Security and privacy settings are both set at "medium". I'm stumped. |

I finally was able to save the Pepsistuff.Com - Music And More Sweepstakes but it was a fluke. No consistency at all. Just tried to test things out by trying to add another sweep and it will not do it. It's hit and miss on saving sweeps. If Firefox is working I am not interested in downloading it. I'm happy and used to IE.  Cookie dump, temp. file dump, change in cookies level ( all the way down to accept all cookies ) and privacy settings do not correct problem. I did not notice any problem until SA added the time along with the date you entered a sweep.  |

We are going to review the auto save pop up window code as it needs updating. I think because you are on IE6 this is why it still works for you. I am on Vista and IE7 and all my pop ups get blocked no matter what I try. Going to change this to work with everything some how. Stay tuned.  |

I didn't notice any problems until after the time was added after the date when I enter a sweep if that's any help.

This error is not related to SA. The file "hpswp_selection_ie7.dll" is a HP Printing add-on for Internet Explorer. If you remove this add-on your problems will likely go away. I need to know what section of SA you are on when you encounter this problem. Better yet if you can paste the url here that will be great. I have to duplicate the problem. |
