We are working on a My Sweepstakes upgrade that will initially have the following
new features.

1. Create your own my sweepstakes categories.

2. Add your own Private my sweepstakes listings.

These were existing suggestions that we are implementing. What other changes or upgrades
would you like to see?

This is your chance to improve SA's My Sweepstakes.

Thank You,

-Ken

Ken,

The only thing I would like to see is having the number of comments being displayed when you reorder the listings.  Right now that is not displayed.  I used to think that it was because I was using IE6, but now I've got a brand new computer using IE8 and it is still the same  cry

Oh, maybe also a counter that lists the number of times one has personally clicked through to the sweep!  Just so one could know how many time they entered.  Smile

Here's a thought. Is there any way to disable the 30 sec. SA ads when loading a page full of sweeps with SweepsPoP?
I'm 100% behind supporting SA and click on lots of ads (which I don't do anywhere else) to help out; but when opening 20 or so windows with SweepsPoP, the ads have usually expired before I get to whichever window had them; and it really seems to slow down the loading process.

Thanks for the suggestions. They all sound good. If we were to roll out a no-ad version of my sweepstakes or sa it would have to be a paid plan. Probably X amount of dollars per year to make up for the loss in advertising. We just want to make sure that this will be value added upgrade. Keep the suggestions coming!

I wasn't suggesting no ads! I love the ads that KEEP SA FREE & use them often. I'm talking about he ones that load in a new window for 30 seconds. When I'm loading a page full with SweepsPoP, I don't see those anyway and they slow things down.

Those ads also keep SA Free and are sponsor ads.

I would love to see a date on the expired sweepstakes in our own list that tells us when it expired. I do not know when to delete the expired sweepstakes because I do not know how long they have been expired.   sunny  I am really glad you have so many categories. It helps me find the sweeps I am interested in fast.

These are all great suggestions. Keep them coming. We are in development right now and will implement
any that are possible. We also have a few bug fixes that will be part of the release.

RE: Sweeps Check

When I pull up sweeps from Powersearch, all Sweeps Check boxes are unchecked; however, I have entered some/all of those sweeps. Can they be made to show? This information would be very useful to have at this point. If not, I have to follow-up after finding a sweep via Powersearch and then go to My Sweeps for the category it is in (One Entry, Daily, etc.) and see if it is on my list.

Example: I Powersearched "SA - October" and all 15 sweeps appeared. I know I entered and checked all, but all Sweeps Check boxes are blank. They do appear checked off properly on my list of Dailies, however.

Thank you for all the great features, constant improvement, and considering all suggestions!

From COMMENTS re:

Some of these sweepstakes are sponsors folks. You know.. 'the people who pay for your free membership'. Just use sweepscheck to check it off and pass it by if you have already entered. Thank you.

We know they're sponsors but instead of saying New next to the sweeps name it should say Repost. That way we could skip over them

My workaround:

I use SWEEPSCHECK to mark sweeps as seen & entered or not interested in, so I can quickly/easily see if it's new or not so the sponsor bumps are easy to see

Hello Everyone,

I thought it was time to summarize the New Features and make sure we
are all talking about the same things. Here are a list of the planned
upgrades. *Keep in mind we are not talking about bug fixes but entirely
new features.

1. Click/Entry Counter
a. How it will work: Each time you click an individual sweepstakes the entry
counter will keep a record of that.  "You have entered 5 times" .

2. Custom Sweepstakes Categories
a. In My Sweepstakes you will be able to create your own custom entry
sweepstakes categories & add certain sweepstakes into those.

3. Private Sweepstakes Lists
a. In My Sweepstakes you can add your own private list of sweepstakes
and manage it however you would like.

4. Add sort to other pages.
a. Add sort feature to New Sweepstakes page, Expiring Sweepstakes and Search results.

5. Add Promotion Start Date
a. Add the actual Promotion Start Date to the listing details.

Let me know if I missed anything or if you have anything to add or change.

This is your last chance!

Thank You,

-Ken

 Waving Ken

This sounds AWESOME!!!  headbang headbang headbang

The only thing I can think of would be drawing/notification date/time - like for those that call you 1x, etc.

The NOTES feature could be used for that though  laughing
