I have gotten more sexually oriented spam in the last couple weeks than ever before.  cussing  nasty stuff. Im almost afraid to check my spam folder.  I would love to know who is sending this nonsense.  oh, and the rolex watch spam im getting 10-15 a day for those.  I know spam is a part of life and I get that but this is out of control.

scratch I was doing pretty good there for a few days and now it is back again in full force.  cussing
Although I am not positive in any way I am thinking that it is coming from the PCH sweeps. I quit entering them for about a year and things got better, but now that I have been entering them again here comes the spam. Makes me wonder if they are selling our emails like they do the magazines. Just a thought. I think I am going to get rid of that one again and just enter through the mail.

I have used the tools in OE (Outlook Express) to safely view any questionable emails:

Right click on the email, select Properties>Details and you can see where it came from and the text of the email.

Bad ones I block - just click Message>Block Sender

The only thing though? It only blocks from that EXACT email addy

for example:

cbrand@feltraft.net

So I go into Tools>message Rules>Blocked senders List and highlight the addy, click MODIFY, and C&P just the end of the addy ie: @feltraft.net

And I add it to one of my message rules or create one to block/delete emails from those addys.

I HATE spam!!!  cussing nono laughing

Amy you are so right!  Thank you! I didn't think about doing that in my yahoo email until you mentioned it. I am now blocking those emails.  For those using Yahoo, go to mail, click on Options(top right side) then click on Block emails, enter those pesky email addresses. This should really help as I get alot from the same addresses.
