New SA Forum Is Live!!

The New SA Forum is Live tonight. We were able to bring over all the posts & topics up until 6:30 PM tonight. If you posted on the old forum after 6:30 pm est it will not appear on the new forum.

Lots of new features to check out. If you click on Profile you have many more options that what you had with the old forum. New Calender, My Mesages Area, Buddies List, etc.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Looks like we are in store for some fun new exploring.  Thanks for the upgrade.  I know many were having problems in the old forums.

We are going to add some really good ones. The old set was with the old forum software and we couldn't migrate it to the new forum. We should be able to get that going by tomorrow.

Ok, in the 17 minutes since I have logged on, I have found some really fun features.  It will take some adjustment, but it seems very easy to navigate.  This should be fun!  Thanks

I created a test account and it works but when i use my normal account it doesn't work

Log into http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/amember/ with your old account. Let me know what happens.
Probably a cookie issue.

Will .sigs be coming back?

I had to fix the leading character in my profile (it seemed to drop first char in transfer), but clicking Show Signature for message doesn't seem to work.

I had a problem with the forum probably because I'm using Mac/Firefox. There were no p.m.'s, I couldn't reply, start a thread or navigate to any different thread unless I click on one and then saw the drop down menu. When I click on a profile I saw this: "An Error Has Occurred!
Many apologies, but you can't view just any profile."

Nothing helped, and I tried 4 browsers. The solution was to load Virtual PC and go to the site and click Admin to reset my password. This works only if you have access to a PC. I think it may be a cookie problem.

Anyway, I did this stuff and the display seems to be okay now.

Yes, it seems to be okay now. What I did was to go to a PC browser using Virtual PC and reset my password in the Admin function. Thanks for the tweak, seems to work now.

Have settings set but not seeing them. I even make sure when posting a new message I cilck on show signature after opening the "Additional Options"

I guess I better not click on nothing else!  At least until I am sure I know what it does!

I'm using this for a while now, and it's fantastic! No problems, and it looks so nice. Congratz on your successful upgrade, and for being a benevolent webmaster. This site is tops.

This EXACT thing happened to me.  I took a screen shot to post for help but i noticed i couldn't post! lol
Anyway, i fixed it by deleting my cookies/files/history/all thosse things in internet options.  Then I logged off my account, then went back on.  And as you can see, I can post :D
