So.... I'm looking for the most noisy/obnoxious toy around for a cousin who is about to adopt 1 year-ish girl. Hoping to drive mom and dad nuts to return the favor of the fire truck they gave us. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Please include link/info on store where to buy.

Thanks.

laughing and I thought I was the only one that ever did that!!
Wish I could help, but am a little out of touch with toys these days. Luckily, she's only 1 year old so you have many years to find that perfect noisy irritating toy!  laughing

She's a little young for lego blocks but feel free to put this in your memory.  Lego Blocks cussing cussing cussing  I remember cussing every single night when I would walk across the floor in a sleepy stupor.  Those suckers hurt when you step on them.  Try as you might - there will always be one or two left on the floor and it is a law of nature that you will step on them.  I might also suggest a gift that my dear brother gave my daughter.  The lovely tickle me elmo.  In the quiet of the night - all is well-  the baby is asleep - and then:  she rolls over on elmo.  Ahhh, maybe teenagers aren't so bad after all.

ha johnny, so your one of those!!!  nono  My aunts love to give kailey loud annoying toys.  I think for that age the best one is those bumble animals. I guess thats what they are called, they shake, vibrate and make a whole lot of noise.  laughing

NO~  You are just in time!  Getting ready to come out for Easter are some of the most terrible toys EVER known to man!  There is one ~ oh it is TERRIBLE ~ all it is is an egg, but when you shake it, move it, bump it ~ sneeze ~what ever ~ this thing comes to life and shakes and screams ~ "Hey you!  Let me out!  Let me out!" and then it just laughs!  I hated that thing last year!  No matter how many ways I tried to get rid of it ~ it kept on coming back to haunt me.  It cames from Target and it was cheap!!!  I don't know that it will be available this year if as many parents hated it as much as I did!

I will try to think of another ~ but I can't think of anything that has got on my nerves so badly as that stupid egg in years!!

Ugh!  We have relatives who did this to us!  One of the kids got a toy saxophone that played three songs, all in loud mode.  Once a song started, you couldn't turn it off.  It was sensitive too and if you bumped the toy box, the tunes would start right up.  I'd send you ours, but the husband eventually lost his patience and threw it out.

Our son received this Leapfrog Alphabet Train Ride-On for his first birthday.  It's a great toy and he loves it.
It is very noisy.  There is no on/off switch and no volume control... so it's always on and always loud.

After reading the reviews, it sounds perfect! Most of the complaints seem to be that it is loud and no volume switch!

Wow, we almost bought this for ourselves at one point....  Seems like a great option. Will definitely keep this in mind. Open to other options, too.... Smile

Oh boy that reminds me of my kids. Who said teenagers are easier! One is big into drums and he has a complete drum set, my other son is into bass with a big old loud amp to go with it. His friend comes over with electric guitar with oh can it be? Yes it is yippy it's another amp! They think they sound so awesome so they turn it up really loud so everyone in the entire house can enjoy. And enjoying I am... locked in my bedroom with two pillows on top of my head  crazy tongue. That's when I thought it could not possibly get any worse but I was so wrong, because my ex decided all the kids needed were cordless microphones that came with lots more ampage baby! So they are singing and strumming and banging with utter mindless abandon. A real mind blowing jam fest here. It was at this point I lost my fricking mind, I mean really kids were never meant to be amplified ever. Somebody just shoot me already.

So there is my suggestion. A nice microphone and a amp, what kid does not love to hear their voice amplified by like a trillion gazillion times its normal level, rock on baby and peace out  headbang

cheers I feel your pain! My son played the guitar and our house is where all the kids came to practice. Those huge amps just about blew the roof off!  I was always happy when the weather got nicer and I could send them out to the garage. There are definitely some things about our kids growing up that we will never miss!
