laughing  while I love horror movies I like others as well. I saw the incredible  hulk last night and I gotta say it was pretty good. Ed Norton is much better than Eric Bana. And Tim Roth was very good also. I really like him. It was nice seeing him in something a little different. Liv Tyler cant act though. I was surprised at how bad she was.

The Story was good and visually it was great.  It did have a couple of you have got to be kidding me  moments but thats ok. It is a comic book movie after all.

eta~ Iron Man was better.   laughing

I watched In Bruges this weekend. I'm normally not fan of Colin Farrell but I really like him in this one. There are very serious plot lines but this one had me laughing throughout too. Well worth owning.

gotta tell ya tiff I havent heard of any of them.  laughing  I hope you like them. are they chick flicks? The last movies I bought were the mist, and Raiders of the last Ark. I will probably buy a couple more today. The Mist was good until the end. I was really surprised in Frank Darabont. This is the same man who did The shawshank Redemption ( one of the best movies ever) and The green mile.. so, wth happened.

wait a minute. I think I have heard of mad money. does that have oh, wth is her name. The woman in the woody allen movies.. crap. I cant think of her name.

What is In Bruges about? I dont think I have heard of it either. But if dark likes Im sure I will to.  laughing

It's about a couple of hitmen who are sent to chill out in Bruges after a bad hit. I can't give much more away but I'm pretty sure you'd like it. Great acting, funny and dark script, violence....everything you'd wish for.  laughing

The pursiut of happiness

Really good but, a tear jerker.

My favorite movie of all time is Sweet Home Alabama, I don't know what it is but, I can watch it over and over without getting sick of the movie.

Today I laid on the couch and watched DVDs. I've been in a "blah" mood lately. Anyways, I watched
The perfect storm
Blast from the past
Just like heaven

Couldn't watch any of my horror flicks since the kids were laying around with me.  popcorn

I watch Shawshank often.  Its a shame it didnt really make any money when it was released but it has become a cult classic which it deserves.  Its a great movie. I watched the green mile again last night. I read the book and then saw the movie and thought the guy they picked for percy wetmore didnt look right for the part until the movie got going and then it was like yep! this dude is perfect. I cant imagine anyone else ever doing that role.

I also watched lucky number slevin.. again.  laughing  I love, love, love this movie. It has one of the worse movie titles ever but its a great movie. The cast is so good. Its smart and funny with some vengeance thrown in. gotta love that.  I really like Morgan Freeman. He is really good in this. He doesnt play a bad guy often so it was nice to see.

I really want to see Green mile, I want to but, haven't been able to yet.

BTW Morgan Freeman lives pretty close to us and his mother lives on the hwy near my house. You can't really see anything though because, the fences are lined with tree's and bushes. Mr. Freeman owns a cafe in Clarkesdale, MS. I would really like to try it out as people say the food is great but, expensive. I hear no one messes with him because, he has done so much for MS he is very well respected here so no one really bothers him. People also say that Clint Eastwood visits him often.

He does have a very nice voice. I think Ed harris has the sexist voice ever though. Something about it. I dont think he is attractive but his voice is sooo nice.

I keep hearing about that one. I'm gonna have to check it out. I'm in need of some cheering up, so today I've dedicated myself to watching as many episodes of Moonlighting as possible. That show never fails to put me in a good mood.  laughing

Just finished watching Daylight Robbery~A~ It was so good. If you have seen the bank job with Jason statham and you liked that you will definitely like this one. Its another British movie. ( I have a thing for those) The acting is great. The story while not ground breaking is decent and the movie moves at a pretty good clip with no dull moments.  I loved it

Watched Wanted today... woohoo!  headbang I loved this movie. great action. really cool CGI. And the acting was pretty good also. Jolie was great( like always).. I was a little disappointed with Freeman.. Not with his acting so much but the movie didn't really allow for any kind of connection with him. That's the only way I can describe it.

If you read the comic and are expecting something similar.. your gonna be disappointed.   laughing   If you go into thinking its just another Action flick you will be alright. Yes its over the top but I like that in a movie. Who wants ordinary?  definitely check it out.

Wanted~A~

Any Tyler Perry fans here? I am one and own 3 movies and about 5 plays of his. Anyways, one of the movies I just received last night from a trade on another board. It's a movie I have wanted since it came out.

Why did I get married? Has anyone seen it? Such a good movie, I felt so bad for the lady Sheila because, I felt her pain...I've been there so I know the pain she was feeling and almost cried myself! Tonight was the first time watching this movie. I tend to feel more emotions the first time watching the movie since I don't know what's coming.

I'm not sure if anyone is into this type of stuff but, Tyler Perry is awesome and all of his movies/plays have a lot of meaning to them. Check him out sometime.

13 game sayawng~C+~  This is classified as a thriller but could be horror too I think. Its subtitled.

Its about a guy who is having financial problems and gets a strange phone call that offers him 100 million $ if he completes 13 challenges. Sounds easy huh?    nono

Its a little slow the first 20 minutes or so but its just trying to show his financial state and how desperate he is. After that it picks up and is... very interesting.. I have to say that if you have a weak stomach you might want to pass. Even if you don't have a weak stomach I wouldn't eat anything before watching.   laughing   Challenge 5 made me almost throw up.. not kidding. Just thinking about it now I'm getting queasy.  The rest of the challenges arent that bad though.

If you like unusual movies.. especially if you like foreign movies( I do).. you should check it out...

Once again I gotta say... Do not watch if you have a weak stomach and do not eat anything right before watching.. just in case.

Hellboy 2~C~  just got back from watching this and I gotta say I was a little disappointed.  Visually its very good. Some really cool looking characters... Thats about it though.  Its like the plot was secondary. It was just this thing kinda going on in the background. The focus 100% is the characters, not the story.  nono  And its a little longer than what it should have been. Shaving twenty minutes off would not have hurt it at all.

May contain spoilers...  popcorn
Bone eater~ F if you are looking for serious, C if you just want to have a laugh at a stupid movie.

What can I say about bone eater   scratch   It had me and the kids cracking up. omg! it has some of the worse acting and dialogue. The story is stupid, The so called effects look like something a 10 yr old did on his computer, and It has bruce boxleitner, william katt (member him), Gil Gerard and Veronica Hamel  in it.. Its an eighties reunion.

The "story" is about an ancient Indian burial ground that gets disturbed by workers and wakes this... huge, skeleton guy   scratch   oh, I almost forgot the skeleton guy somehow has a horse that just shows up..its like a ghost horse or something.... Its hilarious.

The guy that owns the company doing the work is supposed to be like this millionaire who is spending 110 million dollars on this project.. he is being chauffeured around in a Lincoln town car.   laughing   I dont have anything against town cars but I would think that someone worth that kind of money would buy something a little more flashy.  I will be looking to add this to my stupid movie collection for sure.

I watched Wall-E today. Cute little guy had me in stitches and a little teary eyed. Definitely one of Pixar's best creations. There's not a lot of dialogue as most of the action takes place between robots but I think that adds to the magic of this movie. I'm adding this to my collection as soon as it comes out.
