OK so I have not won anything in 21 days. Not even a local contest. cry

Basically I am stuck at 99 wins for the year.

I can only hope that the win that breaks the dry spell which will be #100 is awesome! headbang

 whistle I think we all have a dry spell once in a while, but don't fret. Usually, when I have one, it is broken by several great wins in a matter of a few days. Hopefully, your lucky streak will be just around the next corner! Sending good luck vibes out to you!

I agree with Pmeek.  I just came off of a 5-week dry spell that I thought would never end and then in one week, I had 3 nice wins.  So hang in there and keep entering.  You'll be over that 100th win before the end of the year!

I, too, noticed that most wins are by new members. Why is that? I didn't have that kind of luck when I first started entering sweeps.

The irony here though? Go back a few years and look at posts by newbies who win quick. Since they didn't go through the trial by fire us oldtimers did, they usually quit entering if they don't win again in days, if not weeks!!!

Yea I have noticed a lot of new members killing on the prizes. Really in the past 3-4 months.
I do not have cable but I heard there was a Super Sweepers episode on tv or something like it. scratch
So I figure there was a boom in interest  there. But that means lower odds for us.
Oh well. Hell I was new once as well. sunny
Let's go El Nino!

It is weird I sometimes think the Lord allows me to win when I am being or doing good things in my life.  :headbang:I better look at what I am doing in my life lately. nono

Exactly!!! It's why I vote, share tips, answer questions - well, the teacher part of me *likes* doing those things  whistle - but I have found when I take the focus off me, it works out.

It works for gambling too I've found - I'm almost tempted to bring a book to read while I play!  crazy tongue laughing
