Well...still doesn't help with that murder case...

It is amazing to me how some of these (insert noun of your choosing here) __________(stars, athletes, politicians...etc.) start to believe their own hype and believe they are above the law.  The sad fact was that he got away with murder for years and I am sure that he didn't believe that this time would be any different!

Not only was he found guilty but he was found guilty 13 years to the day Nicole and Ron were murdered.  How's that for sweet justice, baby!  cheers

Did you guys ever read where some doctor friend of OJ's wrote a book about how he had told OJ of some pill(drug) that he could take to make his hands appear bigger or smaller?(it was one or the other).  Anyway, I always found that interesting in terms of the gloves not fitting.

I think he had him stop taking his arthritis medicine so his hands would actually swell...it worked.  So many people wanted to believe that he was innocent at the time.  I just wonder how many of them have changed their minds all these years later...

I do believe you may be right!  I was thinking some sort of heart meds but I think what you've said is correct.

As far as so many people wanting to believe he was innocent, yeah, I'd love to know what the majority of those people are thinking too after all of these years.  In my opinion, it was those of his own race and his fans who didn't want to believe he did it.  Why did he get off?  Well, I could speculate but it'd probably throw the board into an uproar.  I think most of us know why he got off.  I'm just glad that this time he didn't.  I have also read his judge is a feisty female who isn't exactly a Simpson fan.  Could life be any sweeter at the moment?  laughing

Side note:  I watched an episode of Cops where he had been arrested for DUI.  He was a freaking hero in there!  Guards were flocking to get his autograph.  The camera man had asked him a few questions about how he felt being locked up.  In his drunken stupor he replied, "I'm God to these people."  I hate that SOB.

GOOD!!!   headbang headbang headbang

Guess he didn't have enough money left to hire F. Lee Bailey to get him off!  I hope he make lots of "Hygene-Conscious" buddies in the shower room.

Just saw this from an AP article:

Quote
In a city where luck means everything, O.J. Simpson came out the big loser — and his unlucky number in a case full of bizarre twists was 13. He was convicted of an armed robbery that happened on Sept. 13 and was found guilty on the 13th anniversary of his Los Angeles murder acquittal. The Las Vegas jury deliberated for 13 hours after a 13-day trial.

Guess it just wasn't his lucky day....
