I think he had him stop taking his arthritis medicine so his hands would actually swell...it worked. So many people wanted to believe that he was innocent at the time. I just wonder how many of them have changed their minds all these years later...
I do believe you may be right! I was thinking some sort of heart meds but I think what you've said is correct.
As far as so many people wanting to believe he was innocent, yeah, I'd love to know what the majority of those people are thinking too after all of these years. In my opinion, it was those of his own race and his fans who didn't want to believe he did it. Why did he get off? Well, I could speculate but it'd probably throw the board into an uproar. I think most of us know why he got off. I'm just glad that this time he didn't. I have also read his judge is a feisty female who isn't exactly a Simpson fan. Could life be any sweeter at the moment?

Side note: I watched an episode of Cops where he had been arrested for DUI. He was a freaking hero in there! Guards were flocking to get his autograph. The camera man had asked him a few questions about how he felt being locked up. In his drunken stupor he replied, "I'm God to these people." I hate that SOB.
