ELIGIBILITY: This Promotion is open to all authorized MWR patrons (military active duty personnel, reservists,
guards, retirees, DOD civilians with valid military government identification cards and their immediate family
members) ages eighteen (18) years and older. MWR employees, except those identified in Rule #5, may participate. Proof of eligibility will be required.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: The "Online Improv Wild West Comedy Tour" Promotion (the "Promotion") is an
online opportunity where authorized MWR patrons can have fun and enter for a chance to win prizes provided to Army MWR by Picturehouse. From January 10th – February 8th, 2008, (the "Promotion Period"), we will post an "improv" topic of the day on
www.mwrpromotions.com (the "Website"). While at the Website, you can view the randomly selected daily winner, and enter your joke, pun or humorous thoughts about the current day’s topic. Limit for your entry is two hundred (200) words. Your submission will serve as an entry into a random drawing for the prizes outlined below. On or about 15 Feb. 2008, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from all those who submitted a valid entry for the Promotion.
Individuals may enter daily but can only win one (1) prize.
PRIZE OPPORTUNITIES: Each day during the Promotion Period, a daily prize winner will be randomly
selected from all eligible entries and posted on the website the following day (Weekend winners will be selected and posted on Monday). Individuals may enter daily but can only win one prize during this promotion. Daily winners will receive a Flip Video Cam Recorder (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV" $150). On or about 15 Feb. 2008, one (1) Grand Prize Winner from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period will be drawn. Drawings will be conducted by sponsor (FMWRC) or its designee using randomization methods selected in its sole discretion. One Grand Prize is available. The Grand Prize winner’s installation will receive five thousand dollars ($5,000) for a comedy show at the Army MWR activity of their choice. (The Grand Prize Winner may designate any Army installation to receive the five thousand dollars ($5,000) prize for a comedy night at a Morale, Welfare and Recreation facility that provides food and beverage. The local MWR Director will designate the appropriate facility.) Additional prizes may be added or substituted at the discretion of the Promotion sponsors. Grand Prize Winner will be the VIP guest at the event and, in addition to a Flip Video Camera, will be provided with seating, food and non-alcoholic beverages for himself/herself and up to thirty (30) friends. No transportation will be provided. Intent is for winner to designate the nearest Army installation. (ARV of winner’s package is $450—inclusive of the camera).
