KVVU Pro Football Frenzy Sweepstakes

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

2. TO ENTER: 

Go to FOX5VEGAS.com, click on the football frenzy icon, and complete the registration form.
There is no cost to register or enter.
Sweepstakes begins September 7, 2007 and ends February 3, 2008.
All entries become the property of KVVU and will not be returned.

3. Entrants must be legal residents of Nevada and 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of KVVU, Meredith Corporation, United Nissan, United Hyundai, United Dodge, Web Media Tools, Internet Broadcast Systems, Inc., their agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household are not eligible. Winners of a prize from KVVU within the past thirty (30) days from the beginning date of this sweepstakes are not eligible.

4. TO PLAY:
Visit FOX5VEGAS.com each week during the professional football season and playoffs. Select the name of the team you think will win each game.

• You will receive 50 points for each correct winning team pick.
• Pick the “Blow Out” game each week. The point differential between the two teams will be added to your weekly score.
• Select the “My Game of The Week”. The total points scored by both teams will be added to your weekly score.

Only one entry per valid email address per week.

An entry shall consist of all of the games for the particular week for which a player has selected a team, the “Blow Out” game each week and the “My Game of the Week”. To have a valid selection for each game pick, players must make selections prior to the start of each game. A player may change their game pick prior to the start of each game, but no change will be accepted after the game starts. To have a valid selection for the “Blow Out” and “My Game of the Week”, the selections must be made prior to the start of the earliest professional football game to begin each week. The “Blow Out” and “Game of the Week” options are not available after the first game of the week starts.

5. (1) player with the highest number of total points for the week will be determined the weekly winner based on regular season games.

There will be (17) weekly winners.

Weekly winners will be determined on or about September 11, 18, 25, 2007;
October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 2007;
November 6, 13, 20, 27, 2007;
December 4, 11, 18, 25, 2007; and
January 3, 2008,

In the event two or more players are tied with the same number of Football Frenzy weekly points, a random drawing, supervised by KVVU, will be held to determine the winner.

6. POINT SYSTEM:
The breakdown of the possible weekly points is as follows:
• Each week, during the professional football league season, including playoffs, for each correct winning team selected by the player, 50 points will be awarded to the player’s score.
• "My Game of the Week": Each week, during the professional football league regular season only (not playoffs), the total points scored in one game in which the player selects will be added to the player's score.
• "Blowout Game of the Week": Each week, during the professional football league regular season only (not playoffs), the player will select one game, and the point difference between the two team’s scores will be added to the player's score.

7. PRIZES:

(17) Weekly Prizes will be awarded: Each weekly winner will receive a $50 gift certificate from various prize provider sponsors. In the event two or more players are tied with the same number of Football Frenzy weekly points, a random drawing, supervised by KVVU, will be held to determine one winner.

Grand prize: On or about January 25, 2008, under the supervision of KVVU, total points will be calculated and one grand prize winner will be determined according to number of total points accumulated, with grand prize going to the player with the highest total number of points. The grand prize winner will receive $500 gift certificate(s). In the event two or more players are tied with the same number of highest total points, a random drawing, supervised by KVVU will be conducted, and one grand prize winner will be determined.

KVVU reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if prizes cannot be awarded as described. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, express or implied by Sponsor. Sponsor disclaims all and any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third party goods or services accepted by the winners. Gift certificates subject to issuer restrictions. Prizes cannot be assigned, transferred, changed or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

8. All decisions of KVVU regarding winner selection and this sweepstakes are final.
Winners will be notified by phone, e-mail and/or mail and prizes available for pick-up at KVVU. KVVU assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or any other reason, or incomplete, damaged, misdirected, or lost entries. KVVU reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the web site or otherwise in violation of the rules. KVVU further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, technical corruption, non-authorized human intervention or force majeure. The use of automated entry systems or any other conduct that impedes the integrity of the sweepstakes is prohibited. In the event of a dispute regarding online entry, entry will be deemed made by the holder of an established e-mail account associated with the entry. If, in the exclusive judgment of the Sponsor, this sweepstakes becomes compromised in any way, Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the sweepstakes, cancel any method of entry, to void any entries submitted fraudulently or select winners from all eligible entries received prior to act that compromised the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner and to disqualify any individual Sponsor finds acting in violation of the Official Rules. Should the sweepstakes be terminated prior to the last day of the sweepstakes, notice will be posted on the Sponsor web site and winners will be chosen from eligible entries received as of the date of termination under procedures adopted by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage the Sponsor web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Entry constitutes permission for KVVU to use winners’ name, hometown, likeness, photograph, voice and statements regarding this sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes on behalf of KVVU and Meredith Corporation without compensation unless prohibited by law. Grand prize winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity unless prohibited by law, within two (2) days of notification. If any potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to claim prize, fails to comply with all rules, or fails to respond to the winner notification, the potential winner is disqualified and the prize is forfeited. If forfeited, the player with the next highest score will be determined from among the eligible entries to be the alternate winner. Subject to all U.S. federal, NV State and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

10. By participating and winning a prize, winners release KVVU, Meredith Corporation, United Nissan, United Hyundai, United Dodge, Web Media Tools, Internet Broadcast Systems, Inc., their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the sweepstakes or any prize awarded.
