...is for cowards. I've always had a problem with passive aggressive people. I can't understand why they don't have the balls to say what's on their mind. Maybe they don't have one. Maybe they don't have balls. Maybe they're just cowards hiding behind whatever. I've always said that it's easy to hide behind a computer. People wouldn't say half the nonsense they say on the computer to your face. They'd most likely be afraid of an grits whoopin'. And I'd most certainly would whoop 'em I've noticed that most of the passive aggressive people I have encountered are religious and they hide behind God. I hate to break it to 'em but God knows what the dealio is and so do I. You can't get away with it. HE knows all! Do you hate passive aggressiveness as much as I? Do you hate something totally different? I'd love to hear about it.

I've never been able to hide behind a computer because everybody always recognizes me-even on "anonymous" sites You may find this link entertaining. I agree with the author http://www.straightdope.com/columns/030530.html.

I agree too, Red, but I can't call them what I really want to call them. I figured passive aggressive fit their behavior and was insult enough. I see it in various circumstances. Someone shunning your post in a not-so-subtle way or posting right after you do, trying to poo on your post in a not-so-subtle way. They don't think I see it or anyone else sees it but they're wrong. IRL I have a neigbor lady who likes to think her poo is lined in gold and shines like diamonds but really it only shines like a cubic zirconia. She has a dog who likes to jump into their pond when they are not looking. Well, the other neighbor's dog is a mutt and she likes to jump into the pond as well. Her name is Sadie. Sadie is the sweetest dog in the world and I love her almost as much as I love my boys. The nasty neighbor likes to complain to Sadie's owners about what a poo dog Sadie is for jumping in her pond and clogging up the filter. I butted in on her last tirade and told her that her dog(who likes to eat her own poo)is the fur culprit. I also decided to tell her that her son is a drug addict who sh!ts on her porch right as he's passing out and I will no longer stand by and watch him blame it on Sadie. I also told her I wouldn't know about her son sh!tting on the porch if he wasn't calling me over so he could "scratch my beaver." Right before he took a hot steamy dump. I overheard the nosey baseball mom that I hate say that the poo neighbor was contemplating putting her house up for sale. Score one for the sinner!!

I dont know what my personality would be called. I hate fighting and confrontations. So I don't always speak whats on my mind. But I don't usually talk behind peoples back. There has been some rare cases. When those people really deserved it and I was telling the truth just stating facts. I think I learned through out the years not to always say whats on my mind. I used to get in alot of trouble for doing that. Its good to keep some things to yourself!!

There's alot to be said for living in the woods. I would miss my neighbors though. I love all my neighbors. We all have a great time together. I can't say that there is anything that I really hate. I guess the older you get the more tolerant you become. But I think if I had to live in completelyme's neighborhood I would be looking for a house in the woods!

Personally, I enjoy a good salty outburst now and then. However, as a mod here, I will ask you to please be careful what you post. There are people who visit here who will be upset by the thinly disguised naughty words.

But, but, but.... I like naughty words! Just ask I'd better not go there! For the record, I actually swore the other day at work and had all my employees doing a double take and laughing at me because they NEVER hear me swear. Now, what I call hubby, well he deserves it! Besides, he taught me the bad words! Truck Drivers! Sheesh, they have a language all their own!

I hate, hate, hate passive aggressiveness. Its a huge pet peeve of mine. I am one of those who when I'm upset or angry say what I feel. If I'm mad you know it. I have an aggressive personality. My husband has a passive aggressive personality. drives me crazy. If I feel like saying up yours that's what I say. well, in real life anyway. Online is different. alot of times you can tell passive aggressiveness when its typed out but its not as clear as in person. say what you mean and mean what you say is my motto. At least with an aggressive personality you can say to the person ya know you really are being an grits and they will get it. Passive aggressive people will deny, or make excuse or flat out lie. that's not what I meant they will say.. or you are taking it the wrong way... bull. I know a put down when I hear one.

Yeah, I guess I could have used nonsense. For the record, though, I wasn't trying to disguise s h i t ...I happened to notice in PMs that there is a word filter. I figured it'd be more polite to do poo than s h i t. Sorry, guys. I really try not to post when I'm even a little steamed. I didn't even plan on posting all of that. I finished sweeping for the night and thought I'd glance over the chatter in the forums right quick. Next time I think I'll pass The thing is, I don't even live in a neighborhood. I live in the country. Woods behind the house, the whole nine. Besides the neighbors directly across the road, the other neighbors live anywhere from 1/4-1/2 an acre away. I live 10 miles from the nearest city. I don't know. I just hope the neighbor guy across the road quits tinkling outside in broad daylight...in the middle of the day...right in front of his house where everyone can see him. We all have enough privacy out here. Some of us use it and some of us don't I guess. And I hope the evil neighbor lady would knock the chip off of her shoulder and realize the mutt dog is just as worthy of breathing as her dog. Red-what big word can I use for "scratch my beaver?" Anyways, it's a new day. The sun is shining, a cool breeze is blowing, and the birds are chirping. I'll be alright as long as there aren't anymore fly-by bird dumps that land on our deck and lawn furniture.

There's a reason why many people won't speak their minds anymore. Whenever someone states their views, opinions, and/or beliefs (especially beliefs), there are those who feel it's their position to blast them for not having the same views, opinions, and/or beliefs as they do.

There's a reason why many people won't speak their minds anymore. Whenever someone states their views, opinions, and/or beliefs (especially beliefs), there are those who feel it's their position to blast them for not having the same views, opinions, and/or beliefs as they do. I don't necessarily disagree, LDS. I can see people holding back because of that. I personally do a lot of that(holding back), believe it or not. I have a "different" outlook on a lot of things that most people probably do not agree with or would want to accept. So, I admire people who do think differently(let's say outside the box) and who do have the courage to speak their minds when it is not necessarily convenient. I find myself holding back when I know it could/would affect my children. I don't want them being judged for how their mother thinks or what their mother believes. Not to say that I am ashamed, but as a parent you have to think of your kids and protect their feelings from being hurt by judgemental people who in reality just really don't like their mother or their father for whatever reason. And LDS, as long as the person who believes differently than I do doesn't try shoving their beliefs down my throat in a disrespectful way, then I don't have a problem with them or what they choose to believe. When they start calling me names or attempt to put me down then I have a problem. I guess the bottom line is as long as people are respectful and considerate with one another, it's all good

Its all just a passing illusion anyway Savage, extreme, rude, cruel, not to trust. Enjoyed no sooner but despised straight, Past reason hunted, and no sooner had, Past reason hated as a swallowed bait On purpose laid to make the taker mad: Mad in pursuit, and in possession so, Had, having and in quest to have, extreme, A bliss in proof and proved, a very woe, Before, a joy proposed, behind, a dream that shakespeare guy

Completelyme, I had a pm from you and accidentally deleted it. You know which one I am talking about, just wanted you to know that I wasn't ignoring you! Also, sometimes it takes me awhile to get back to pm's. I don't know why, it's bad...I know and I should be beaten with a wet noodle.
