I had a big tree cut down, and put an ad on Craig's List for free firewood. Three responders said they wanted to come today and take the wood, so I pulled my car out of the driveway, opened the gate and sat around all day waiting for them. Nobody shows up. Not that I'm surprised. People do this all the time. Next time I'll not bother and just have the town haul away the wood.   

I have had yardsales where I have put stuff back for people that were coming back and they never did ~ I have started making them pay...that way I haven't lost the sale.  I am sick of people doing stuff like this, I wouldn't ever do that to someone!

Oh, and another thing, I can't begin to tell you how many times and how many people said they were coming to our wedding reception and our children's christenings and also didn't show up or even call!

I've never had that happen to me before.  Only here on the Island!
