cheers That sure sounds like alot of fun! Be sure to take pics as I would love to see the two of you in your costumes.
It will be just another day here. Halloween use to be one of my favorite days when I lived in Michigan. I would spend weeks carving scary pumpkins and decorating my house and porch,  for the hundreds of trick or treaters that would come knocking at my door. Living here we don't get anyone knocking on the door.

We hand out candy bars to the handful of children who come to the house and take our children up and down to the houses on our street.  Where I lived before in Pennsylvania and here where we Live in Long Island, Halloween seems to have been gradually disappearing.  The children and/or their parents don't seem to bother anymore.

That's because the morons here in Pa don't have Halloween on Oct 31! cussing They pick the middle of the day on a Saturday....or fit it in around a stupid high school football game!

Even though Halloween is on Saturday this year, I'm willing to bet that Trick or Treating will be on another stupid night.

I've lived here 13 yrs and only once or twice has T or T'ing ever been on Halloween Night.

That's probably because of the idiots on the town counsel in your town.  They always have Halloween on the right night around the area I lived in.  My boys just have to go down to one of the towns to trick or treat since the houses are closer together there, usually Matamoras, PA.

Halloween happens to be my Daughter's birthday, so she goes out t or t'ing with her friends, while about 7 houses worth of people go across the street, and have chili,  two different kinds, and like a potluck dinner, then we all sit around and have our adult beverages, and pass out candy to about 500 kids.

really good gifts coloring books and crayons one year, mini flashlights one year and this year I will probably do
48 inch plush snakes I found at a very very good price, I also make witch brew punch, severed finger cookies,

We are dressing up as Jon and Kate (we hate them so much we thought it would be funny)  This is my favorite holiday!
