I used to live in Iowa, and they started way early and were non-stop and lasted for months (along with the phone calls) every four years.

Now live in Colorado and we just had a few ads this year and only one auto phone call to get to the polls.

But I hear how annoying they are, but they should stop for a while after your primary is over.
