I have a SNAIL mail question- can I print labels for the outside envelope when I enter SNAIL sweepstakes? I will have handwritten 3X5 cards but in the rules it didn't mention the envelopes. I want to make it easier but don't want to be disqualified.
thanks for your help

I think I would err on the side of caution and hand-print those also...just in case!

Question - when I click on a topic, it takes me to the oldest entry first; is there anyway to set it so it takes me to the latest entry?
Thanks,
z

Its amazing how quickly they add up. I hit the 10,000 mark just awhile ago. I post congrats to every winner and that makes it add up fast. That and this place is like a second home to me so I spend a lot of time here.

Good Morning! I have been a member now for over a year and have never won anything. I hate to sound stupid, but what else do you do besides click on the sweeps you want to enter?

Depends on the sweep. For some you fill out a form with your contact information, others you leave a comment (the blog sweepstakes), some you sign up for a newsletter. Then there are the ones where you submit a picture or video, or a recipe or in some cases pictures of a project (these are often scrapbooks) Just click on the title of the sweepstakes and a new page will pop up, hopefully you can find the instructions. Some of them are a bit complicated.

I hope you are doing more than just clicking on the sweeps you want to enter. You have to fill out the entry information for each sweeps also. Just clicking on it will not get you entered.

And don't feel bad if you have been doing this, you're not the first person to make that mistake. I made all sorts of mistakes when I first stared sweeping online. I've been sweeping online since...the internet first started having sweeps and there has been a bunch of stuff I did not figure out till I came here and asked.

people do win. Just check out the winners circle. Have ya entered the subway instant? granted its just chips or the movie ticket usually but a win is a win. You have to be patience and persistent to win with any kind of regularity. Also it helps to enter a lot of different kinds of sweeps. how many are you entering a day? are you using robo? I hope you get a win soon.

It took me 6 MONTHS of daily entering to hit - and I well remember the frustration!!! But, if you hang in there, you WILL hit: Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient. The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win. Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity. I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!! Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!

Have you checked the bushes? Both DHL and Fedex tend to leave wins scattered about the yard. I've literally fallen over wins several days after they arrived.

I have been a member, but just now starting to really try and win! I check the box, save the sweepstakes, but....nothing Any advice? Do you have to go to the actual prize website? I really want to start winning stuff?

I really want to start winning stuff? Yup, you have to go to the actual prize website. This service just lists the sweeps and keeps track of your entries for you, you have to enter the sweeps yourself. There are various services on the net that proport to enter sweeps for you, but judging from folks experience, they do not seem to work. So the manual labor is up to the individual sweeper. A form filler like Roboform really makes this process go faster.
