I had this thread at another site and it was encouraging to many who read it I hope it might be the same here. Also this is a prayer thread for prayers to God and Jesus so as not to confuse anyone so please don't take offense if you do not pray to the God of the Bible.

I don't mind the thread at all! Everyone needs prayer! It is the best and easiest thing we can do for one another!!
Prayer request ~ please pray for me and my sister, Karen, as we are going to take down my mother's things in Daddy's house today. Pray that we are strong and say nothing to hurt our new step-Mom, Wanda. She is such a good woman and I wouldn't hurt her on purpose for nothing.

If you have never watched he movie "Facing the Giants" I suggest for you to watch it. It's a wonderful family movie and really give you something to think about in your life. It's one of those movies that will make you laugh and cry. |

Cin a Baptist church in Georgia backed this movie and it has the Dove Foundation seal of approval. Walmart has the DVD. I had never heard of the movie neither until our church showed it one Sunday night. It's about a high school football coach and his football team. I didn't think I would like it because I care nothing about football but it was an amazing movie. After seeing the movie I had to go and purchase it for my collection. |

Father in heaven I ask that you be with anyone now who is having trials and tribulations in their lives and need your presence to be felt. So many are going through hard times and they need a loving God to hold their hand and to know they are loved. Thank you God for loving us and for being there when we need you. In Jesus name A men.

I feel bad I didn't say a prayer yesterday so Lord forgive me.
I thank my Heavenly Father for being the source of all my happiness and I know when times are hard I will thank him then also. He is so worthy of all the glory and all the praise I can give him. I could not imagine my life without Jesus and the fact that he paid the price for me. So often I feel so unworthy but the good news is we are worthy. It is a gift given freely and all we have to do is say yes.Amen

I do feel guilty if I don't post a prayer because when I do it helps to keep me on track with what God is doing in my life and what I should be doing for him.
My life is centered around you Lord and my heart seeks you out. I hunger and thirst for your righteousness. I know there is nothing impossible with God and he loves us so much. Cast your cares on him for he cares for you. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

I just kept thinking of this scripture so I wanted to post this version. It's the amplified Bible. I also love the original King James Version. I feel like the words sing to me.

You are welcome and please anyone else who wants to contribute to this thread I hope you do. I know when we agree in prayer Jesus is there in the midst of us.
Lord there are so many lives who are affected by tragedies and we know that somehow something good comes out of all the bad. You promised to be with us in times of trouble and in these times of trouble we lean on you more and we become closer to you.Our faith grows and if we remain faithful when the next trial occurs we are more equipped to handle it. My prayer today is thank you for the trials and tribulations along with the blessings because it is in these times we grow Amen

I am sorry I haven't posted a prayer in about 4 days. I went out of town and I did miss this thread.
Father in heaven I thank you for a safe trip and I pray for anyone who was traveling this past weekend that they also made it home safely. I pray for the people who are having to deal with another hurricane and that you are watching over everyone who has to go through the storms we have had of late.
