Reading the post about quilts needed for preemies made me think about how our lives are like patchwork quilts. We are joined together by the many patterns of our experiences. We can be sewn together to make a finished product of beauty. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and God is the one who sees us as a finished work Amen.

1LISTEN TO my words, O Lord, give heed to my sighing and groaning.
2Hear the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray.

9For there is nothing trustworthy or steadfast or truthful in their talk; their heart is destruction [or a destructive chasm, a yawning gulf]; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter and make smooth with their tongue.(A)
10Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own designs and counsels; cast them out because of the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.
11But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.
12For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).

While I was spending time with my Lord this morning I got a word for myself and I believe for others. If this is meant for you claim it and have faith to see it through.
I will right the wrong.
That's the message. Short and to the point. While I was with him this morning I could smell flowers. This happens on occassion and I know I am in the presence of my Father. I can not tell you how much I love Jesus my King. He is my all Amen.

Father we lift up your name this day and we give you praise. You are worthy of our praise and worship and we can know you love us through Jesus. Thank you for accepting me as yours and teaching me to follow your guidance. I look to you for all my needs and I trust that you hear and answer my prayers. It's a great day today because my Father in heaven is watching over me and my family. I am so blessed. Not because of the things I have but maybe because of the things I don't have. I don't have worries because he tells me it does no good to worry. I don't have fears because he tells us not to fear. I don't have inner fighting going on inside me because he gives me peace. So today be thankful for those things you don't have Amen.

Be a servant of the Lord. Take the time in your busy life to be a servant. It is what is required and by serving you are giving of yourself and puting others before your needs.You will be blessed by thinking of those who may not be as fortunate as you. God is good all the time and all the time he is good.

Good morning and God bless. In today's turbulent times we can know and trust that the Bible and God do not change and his promises hold true today , yesterday and tomorrow. Many false gods are worshiped today just as they were from the beginning of time but there is only one God and his Bible has remained constant and true. We put our faith in his word and his word has never changed and in fact we can know the future by reading his word. Stand strong until the end and hope for his return. As Christians we are fighting the good fight and we will be victorious.

spock thank you for posting and sharing God's word for all of us to enjoy. Paul reminds us to remain humble so that we can lean more on him. I want to turn to him for all my needs and I don't want to become absorbed with myself and be prideful. What a wonderful Father we have.

Since the weather has been cooler I have been making soups and stews and all that good comfort food. Christ is our spiritual food and he is our comforter. How wonderful to be able to see the comparison between this earthly life we live and the spiritual life we claim as Christians. We must feed the soul as well as the body. Today feed both.

We have the ability to move mountains. Speak to your mountains and then have the faith to know that it is now out of your control. God can move mountains for any of us. All he asks in return is that we believe.

Oh she is so adorable. Thank you so much because children can put smiles on our faces all the time.
We are so blessed to have children in our lives. Their innocence is such a joy to observe and we can remember we need to be as little children to see God in a way that only a child can comprehend. God bless the children.

I am so thankful that God has saved me from myself. I am so amazed with his love and kindness and that he gave himself for all of the mistakes I made in my life. He can do the same for all of us. He didn't just get on the cross for the righteous but he did it for everyone. We can never be good enough to go to heaven. If that were true then he would have had no reason to suffer the cross. It is by grace we are saved. By faith. Praise his name Amen.

Let others see Christ in you by your example. Walk the walk and talk the talk. When Christ's light shines in you then it radiates out to others. Remember we have him living in us once we are saved and that means Satan will try even harder to take us down the path of wickedness. Stand strong and stay close to Jesus , You will be rewarded in the end
