Before I take the plunge and start a club in my area I wanted to hear from those that started theirs.
  Do you just  "meet" online thru instant messaging? Meet locally like once a month? quarterly? at a restaurant near you? Love the idea of starting one though.

I'm thinking of starting one, too. I'm going to see if there's interest and, if there is, I'm going to suggest that we meet once a month at a local restaurant (or maybe the local library). I've heard about a couple of other clubs who meet once a month at a local restaurant. Otherwise, I'm playing it by ear! Good luck!
