I was a weekly winner from the quick and simple magazine and it said i was one of 50 winners for a baby tee from clotheslinecandy.com .I received a gift certificate for $10.00 but most everything is 19.00. Do you guys think this was a mistake or the prize. I tried going back to see what it was but all the site at quick and simple says is a baby tee doesnt even show the retail value.Well anyways i emailed quick and simple maybe they might email me back saying it was a mistake. Personally i am very far from being wealthy to be able to purchase a baby tshirt for $19.00 my kids get their clothes from walmart lol. It would have been awesome to win something from the pricey store but i certainly wouldnt run out and buy it.

when did you win? did you try doing a search of quick and simple expired to see if it comes up. It should list the prize.   19.00 for a baby tee seems  a little pricey to me but then again im cheap.  laughing   never mind. just found it.

1/10 (nap) - Adorable lollitops tees for little ones from ClotheslineCandy.com (50 prizes; ARV $10 each),   yep, its 10.00.. sorry.

Alot of companies will "give" you a prize knowing that you will have to spend something to be able to use it.  If it has a date when it expires then you might not be able to ~ but see if they have 1/2 price sales and maybe you can get one then!

Good luck ~ I know how crazy this seems, but it happens a lot.  I would come a lot closer to buying something from a company where I had gotten a legit win, but some companies don't understand this concept yet.

It would be one thing if it had said they were giving a $10 certificate toward the purchase of a t-shirt, but they made it sound like you were getting the t-shirt.  I'm not sure I wouldn't send an e-mail to quickandsimple (they evidently were misled also) about it or use the link of "give us some sugar" (which is their contact link on the clothesline candy site  crazy tongue) and ask them about it.  To me it's false advertisement.
