I use to use AOL and then when I started entering some with my yahoo address I realized that I wasn't getting most of my mail from the sweeps. Makes me wonder how many winning emails I missed out on all those years.
Needless to say, I no longer use AOL. You really need to think about using another email address if you want to be sure to get your emails. I emailed AOL and they never would give me an answer.
There's a number of sweepstakes that do not allow entry with an AOL address among a couple of other ones. You have to check the rules to see, and it's not that uncommon. Maybe, it should be posted in the sweepstakes listing when they exclude certain emails.
