"Alt +" will check the "No" boxes or the boxes in the right column or all the boxes depending on the form.

"Alt 0" will uncheck and clear out everything.

Is this available as a default function? I went to the Options menu as Admin said, and didn't know what to click to turn it on.

Maybe, I'm lost here; but I have no idea if you're talking about Roboform Pro or something else!! scratch crazy tongue

"Alt 0" and "Alt =" are Roboform Pro features.  If you're running Roboform Pro, it works just like that.  You don't have to go into anything.  You just do the "Alt" thingy, and it's done! coffee

Yes, I'm using Pro. I'll try out your Alt thingy right now. Thanks.

Yes, I think it all depends on the form. Some times Alt + or Alt - .  My directions were to add the button to your Robo form toolbar to automaticly check the boxes. So you would just click the set or clear fields button.  Smile

There is a feature for "clear fields", but I don't see one for the "Alt =" function.

I wish fill and submit worked at Womans Day. That function brings up a search page, and I have to always manually submit to get the confirmation.

It does work with those.  It could be your computer.  When's the last time you cleaned it up--delete history, delete cookies, delete temporary files, run clean disk, run defrag, and run spyware?

I have never done these as it's a new computer. I don't even know how, as I'm primarily a Mac user. I didn't even know how to shut down until a few days ago.  scratch

Yikes!!  All computers have to be cleaned out on a regular schedule.  If you don't, your computer starts to bog down and mess up.  A clean computer really makes a difference in sweeping faster and with less problems.

Uh, oh. Macs don't need this kind of TLC. I guess I had better learn to be a better Toshiba mommy.

Macs need to be cleaned out too.  They also store unnecessary stuff like files, cookies, etc.

I'm not sure if this is the proper area for this thread but I wanted to make sure everyone that uses Robo Pro sees it. I noticed several folks in another thread mentioned they write their codes and upc's on paper to keep track.

If you enter directly from your Robo logins on your toolbar like I do, safenotes are very helpful to use. When you have a sweeps that uses several upc numbers or like the Quick N Simple site where you need a code word everyday to enter, you can make a safenote and name it the same as your sweepstakes that coordinates with it. Then just do a simple copy and paste of them to the safenote. That way, you don't have to worry about losing your papers with all your notes and codes written down or going to the sweeps websites and doing a search everyday.

I hope this is helpful information for someone and not a repeat of someone else's. I looked at the Robo thread and didn't see anything about safenotes there before I wrote this.

The reason this is happening is that there are two search fields at the top of the entry page, and Roboform has been submitting from one of them.  Clear both fields and resave to the same passcard, and it will work fine.

I was able to figure out how to fix the Womans Day submit problem I was having, where it would do a search instead of submitting. I edited the passcard, removing the search field entirely. Submit was already forced to the bottom button, and it goes through fine now.

I have been using roboform pro and I don't understand one thing about it.  Sometime just double clicking on the passcard automatically fills and submits the page for me, and sometimes it doesnt, it just goes to the page and then I have to click fill and submit at the top from the passcard button at top.

There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.  For instance, one day a sweepstakes will fill and submit automatically, next couple days will have to do fill and submit once the page is brought up on the same sweeps, then a day later will fill and submit automatically again??

Does anyone know why this would happen?

First of all, you shouldn't have to double click on passcards.  You should only have to click on the passcards once.  The problem you're describing is more than likely your computer.  It will do things like this if it's not maintained regularly.  Meaning, making sure you clean house (your hard drive) and keeping everything up-to-date.

Hmmm, maybe it is the way I am using it to enter.

Originally(for like a day) I was just using the drop down from "log-ins", but it was a pain in the butt (although it did take one click to open and submit the sweep, if I recall right).  Because the sweeps window would pop up on top of my drop down list.  And then I would have to go back and and go to the drop down list, select my folder and then the next sweeps.

Then I discovered that if I do "logins" and "edit"  it would bring them all over on the left side in a list, but using that method is where I have to double-click (the first click just brings up the passcard info, the second click brings up the sweeps and sometimes auto submits, sometimes not, totally random).  So I just run through the list, opening about twenty at a time.

Wondering if I am missing something for how to do it easier from the "log-in" drop down menu?

You have to click on "logins" and then the passcard.  I only have files made for weekly's, monthly's, and odd entries.  My daily's all come up in front of me when I click on logins.

Thanks for your help Smile

Question?  Do you have to go back to "logins" and select the next sweeps each time when you do it?

Not sure if I am being clear.  But when I use the Logins and then select a passcard, the window pops up in front of my passcards and then to select the next sweepstakes, I have to click on "logins" again, and select the next in the list?

Is there a way to just go through and select 20 of them without having to click on "logins" to get back to select the next sweeps in the list?

I hope I am making sense?   Again, thanks for the time to straighten me out Smile

Your window isn't popping up in front of them.  The list closes back up after you select your passcard.  Yes, you do have to go back and click on "logins" and then the next passcard; but the last passcard you clicked on is underlined.  So, you can't lose your spot.  For me, this isn't an issue, because I can click through them real quick anyway.

ok ... so half dozen in one half dozen in the other.  I like that I can just click about 20 open just going through the list.  But they aren't automatically submitting all the time.  I think I will try your method one day and my method one day and see which is quicker.

Thanks for your help again Smile

You have to go through "logins" in order for them to submit by themselves.  If they're not, you probably need to do a thorough cleaning on your computer.

If you're trying to duplicate entering them like the "Sh____" program at the other site, I can guarantee you that it's slower than doing it the way I described.  I keep four windows and sweep up and down them very quickly.

I just started doing this a month and a 1/2 ago.  And disocovered roboform about one day into sweeping.

So i don't think I am going through that other site??? (whatever that is, this is the only site I have been to).

Anyway, i do "logins" ... "edit"  ... and then double click on each sweeps I have saved to a passcard and it takes me to the sweeps webpage, and sometimes fills and submits, and sometimes doesn't.

My puter was just cleaned, but I will do it again.  I am thinking we just enter them differently through roboform.

I am going to try your method too, and see if it is faster.  That was the original method I was trying, so I will give it another try.

Smile  Best wishes on sweeping Smile

I appreciate your help and advice much!

Then if you never used the other site you don't know about that program, but it sounds like your trying to do something similar.  Do not go through edit.  Your wasting sweeping time doing that.  Just click on "Logins" then the passcard.  It's easy to find the next passcard when the last one you entered is underlined.  Your making more work of it than is necessary. crazy tongue
