You can redownload the program by using the license number assigned to you when you purchased it.  If the USB itself breaks, you have to buy a new USB.  I didn't buy mine from them.  I just purchased the downloadable program from them.  Robo2Go is used to bring your passcards from your main computer with you when your away from home to use them and update them and reload and override the old list.  Since you're only using a USB, you definitely should backup your passcards.  At least, those will be safe from being lost if something goes wrong.

I downloaded the recent update to robo pro recently and since then everytime I come back on I have to type my password. I didnt have to do that before. Only had to do it if I was offline for a couple of hours I would have to type it in. Anyone else having to do this?

No.  On my sweepstakes forms saved as passcards, they fill in exactly how they were saved.  If I fill anything in from my name on the toolbar, it still fills in.  Did you check your user information to make sure your password is still in there?

The sweepstakes forms are fine. Its just when I first come back online after being off and go into it my passcards. I have to put it in. Just once then im fine. But I only had to do it before when I was offline for awhile.

Clicking on "Logins" only brings up your list of saved passcards not your identity passcard.  Does your name show up on the Roboform toolbar along with "Logins"?

I don't know what Yahoo save is scratch, but you can go into Roboform's defaults and change settings so it stops doing that.

Click on Roboform on the left side of the toolbar.  Click on "options".  Click on "Auto Fill".  Make sure nothing is checked.  Click on "Auto Save".  Make sure only the third (ALT) and fourth (SHIFT) are checked.  Click on "Security".  My only settings her are "AES" checked, 120 auto-logoff me after this many minutes, and checked clear generated passwords after logoff.  Try those settings and see if that works.

Does anyone have a "coupon" for robo form. I know there's often a link where you can get it at a discount. I'm finally ready to make the "plunge" into pro but I'm still a cheapie and would liek to get it as cheap as possible!

thanks! I just bought it and will be setting up passcards tonight. I'm sure I'll be back with questions even though I've used the free version for almost 2 years!

What are some of the other things that robo can do?

If you press ATL & + at the same time it will fill in all the no's on those that have a bunch of offers.

Any other tricks?  laughing  I dont know of anymore but im sure someone here does. If so, can ya list them please.

I have a new use for Robo that I wasn't using before: the notes feature can hold codes you need for instants, so I put all the current codes onto a note, and keep the not open when I'm doing instants. I can then just copy/paste the code and it's much faster this way. I also keep my email address on the notepad for the flash fill ins.

How do I transfer a full install of Robo pro onto a new computer?

My Toshiba laptop has been shutting off intermittently from overheating, and I think it may be starting to fail. I would like to use Robo Pro onto my Intel Macbook after I upgrade the memory, but need to transfer the software whole.

You have to download it back from their site by using your assigned license number you got from when you purchased it.

...& I LOVE WINNING!

« Reply #118 on: September 17, 2008, 12:22:17 PM »

Well, I'm usually very internet/computer savvy but now I feel like a complete heel. I've spent the last couple hours reading all about RoboPro & decided to purchase it. I even used the link provided & got a discount. But now I feel completely lost. I have no clue what to do next. It says RoboForm Pro is now activated & I received an "order#" which I'm assuming is my license#.  My toolbar still looks the same. I've been using the free version since Apr & I enter sweeps using my identity. I've always been a little confused about using the passcards -vs- identity, don't they both do the same job? I always use the same username & password. So how do I set up all my sweeps & get the full benefits from this program? Thanks for any assistance & I promise I do learn quickly!

I only use identity to fill out the blank entry forms.  Once the form is filled out correctly after I check it, I click "Save", name it, and save it.  The next time I go to enter that one and all my others, I just click on "Logins" and left click on the passcard name.  Most will go to the webpage, fill out the form as you saved it, and submit it for you.
