Now that you mention it, my entering method is a lot like Sh_z_m at the other site, but I'm able to control which pages I want to open and how many. Sometimes, you don't go straight to the login, but I save the login as a bookmark, making entering very fast. I never did so many dailies.
Robo has other functions I don't yet understand, but can see the possibilities. I'm looking forward to many wins from now on.

Mine are all saved to the login page. The only forms I don't have control over are the flash forms, of course, since they're just projections on the page and Roboform can't see them. Any subsequent pages to entering are cloned as (1), (2), etc. After Roboform fills and submits the first page, I click once on "fill and submit" as soon as the next page comes up, and that page is done and gone, and so on.

Can Robo be instructed to fill and submit only certain pages or domains?

I don't follow. Are you asking if there's a way to tell it that you don't want it to submit something?

I'm saying I would like it to automatically fill and submit at certain sites and/or domains such as Classic Heartland. Does the passcard function allow this?

With the exception of a few sweeps this doesn't work with, I let Roboform fill and submit all of my sweeps. If for some reason you don't want Roboform to submit one, just click on "Go and Fill" instead.

I think this would be a good enhancement for the next version. Have you ever contacted the company with a suggestion or complaint?

Yes, but only when they removed the password marker. Keep in mind that this is a form filler aid. Although you can set your own defaults, etc., I think your asking for something that goes beyond what it simply is meant for. If you can give me a better example of what you're trying to do (specific sweepstakes/websites) maybe I can understand what your asking better. Using the "Go and Fill" feature already ensures that Roboform won't submit the form for you. So, I really don't see anything else necessary for that. Plus, I don't think that's an issue that most users have. Most people do want as many of their sweepstakes forms as possible submitted by Roboform. Is there a specific reason you don't want Roboform submitting them for you?

When I 1st learned of robo, the submit button was considered a good way to get yourself DQ'ed Whether that is true or not, I have no idea. However, I have won that way :sunny

However, I have won that way :sunny I always let Roboform submit every form possible. I average at least one prize per day. If that were true, there would be no way I could win this much.

Exactly LIDARKSIDE!!! btw - I remember winning like that I think it goes hand in hand with some other "advice" that was repeated - major reason why I don't take things at face value and research

I have been winning (I just did an affy ) but not like I was there for awhile when I'd win 3 - 4 times a day every other day or so. See, lately I've had connection issues (since August ) and my health precludes me from entering some days (when my eyes start jumping, I get a migraine... ) and I try to help find sweeps/help members, so my wins have dropped off. Since I know it's possible to win that much/that often, I don't sweat the days I miss like I used to - but I sure miss that winning rush!!! I was thinking of merging this thread with the Roboform links & Q&A thread in the Questions & Answers forum, but figured I'd just C&P some of your posts from here to it instead.

I can relate where you're coming from. I'm having my share. Right now, there is something popped in my back giving me tremendous pain. The wonderful insurance companies won't let you get an MRI right away (you can just die in the meantime ). Instead, only x-rays and physical therapy which never seems to help!! After that, then and only then, you can get an MRI; and this is cost-effective how?????

After that, then and only then, you can get an MRI; and this is cost-effective how????? Oh boy, can I relate!!! I was in the Navy when I started having back problems. I thought (for 2 years) it was doing construction work (I was a SEABEE) that made it hurt so bad, but the guys I worked with noticed how much trouble I was having and suggested I get it checked out. Well... first I had to deal with Dr's who thought I was trying to skate, since I'm flexible and can bend over and almost put my hands on the floor. They were adamant that I couldn't possibly have pain. I had to do x-rays, then was sent to physical therapy. After months of this, I was sent to get a bone scan and a cat scan. They showed nothing. About 2 years after I first reported my pain, I finally was given an MRI, and they immediately saw the problem(s)!!! I had a herniated disc (L-4 L-5 S-1) spinal stenosis, and degenerative disc disease. That was back in the late 80's early 90's. I had to get a medical discharge, and change my lifestyle from active ( very active - volleyball, bowling, construction work...) to a sedentary one. No idea how I injured my back - but if I could go back and avoid whatever it was, I'd do it in a heartbeat!!! And, I'd have listened to the Dr's and taken it easy instead of pushing myself so hard - maybe I wouldn't be in pain all the time now if I had!!! So listen to your body and the Dr's - they are following the "troubleshooting" rules: always assume it's the easist thing to fix first, then work your way up if the problem persists. And if you can afford it, see a chiropractor to get a 2nd opinion. Reflexology/massage can be very beneficial too!!!

If these insurance companies would just pay the MRI cost of $800+ up front, think of how many deaths could be prevented and money saved. For some, reason they seem to think that spending all this money first on doctors, x-rays, physical therapy is saving them money. Am I missing something? I just whatever it is popped out to the right of my spine fixed and fixed now. Because of that, I'm using my body differently and also knee problems started from the extra stress being put on them. I'd really like to know who are running these insurance companies!!!

Good news on the computer front: I got my 1mb ram upgrade card yesterday, and was able to install it myself. Robo works a lot faster, and I found myself wondering what to do with myself after I got all the sweeps out of the way. I'm used to being bogged down entering. More time for things I need to do. That's why I bought the laptop to use Robo. Now I just have to DO them.

We always forget to mention that our computers need to be able to handle whatever prog (ie: robo) to benefit from it, as your post amply demonstrates! FYI for anyone following this thread: Ideally, the faster the comp + the faster the service (dsl, cable as opposed to dial-up) + the fewer the progs = the faster we are able to enter. Being off on one slows it all down That's why it's good to do speed tests to ensure you are getting the level of service you are paying for, to clear temp files and cookies frequently, and defragmenting. Check out this thread for free progs to help you run your comp safer and faster: http://forums.g4tv.com/ann.jspa?annID=3

What I really wish Robo would do in the next update:
Load the pages. Fill the pages. Submit automatically. Close the pages.
It would truly be a macro for entering, and probably against the rules. Still, I'd love it.

It already does the first three, but I don't understand why you would want it to close the page. I keep four windows open at all times and go up and down them (on sweeps that take a couple of seconds longer to submit) and keep clicking down the list of passcards. You have to have a window open to sweep.
Even if it did all four, it would still not be a macro.

I meant they would autofill when they're loaded with no further action on the user's part.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "when they're loaded". With the exception of some like flash and security codes, I just click on the passcard and that's it. I don't have to do anything else. Roboform goes to the webpage, fills in the form, and submits it all on its own.

I tried it your way, and it did fill and submit. Before, I was using the passcard edit, and it would only fill but not submit. I will tinker with your method next time and see what's best.
Auto-closing the tabs would make it go even faster. That's what I meant. Closing tabs after submitting.

I still don't understand "closing tabs". If you mean closing the window, you still would need it open to go to the next sweep. Letting Roboform enter the sweeps on its own is the fastest way to enter them. Everyone I taught over at the other place to use it correctly stopped using "MySweeps" and that other program, because they all found it went faster to enter the sweeps by just using Roboform.

Tomorrow I'm going to give your method a shot, letting it load, fill and submit without my interference. I keep a folder of sweeps that are suitable for this kind of entry. Another folder has sweeps that need codes, etc.
What I meant was, it could close the tab or window after it submits, but this feature isn't available. I was just thinking it would be nice.
You really love Robo I see. If it was alive you'd marry it. tee-hee
