We can go out for a 36 oz. prime rib at J&R's Steakhouse! crazy tongue

Cool, as long as the currency is the Wendy's card.

 laughing

Well, there is a Wendy's in Riverhead too.  Or we can go hopping.  Go through the drive-thru of all the fast food joints and have a buffet! crazy tongue

Good idea, as long as we have a cardiologist standing by.

I'm going to try this again tomorrow and do them my way for today. Perhaps when I'm not groggy with an upset stomach I can focus and make it work. Today is just not my day for something new. I have a Thanksgiving tummy hangover.

Ditto my thanks for your Robo help.

LIDARKSIDE -Thanks for your offer to help...how do I do that?  I use the free version of Roboform...

I hope it has these features, but I guess we'll see.

When you click on "Logins" on your toolbar that should bring up your main list of sweeps.

When you want to separate certain sweeps into their own list, you will have to make new files as follows.

On your toolbar go to:

Logins
Edit
Passcard
Folder
New Folder
New Folder on the upper right of the popup window
Name your folder and save

You can make as many files as you want.

When you want to save a sweepstakes to a certain folder, make sure you highlight the folder name before saving.

If you want to move a passcard already saved to that folder, right click on the passcard, rename, highlight the folder you want to save it to, and save.

Okay - I finally bought roboform pro, and I think I've got some of it...but I have a few questions.  When saving a sweep in logins, is that where you put the title of the sweeps too (not just SITV for example, but since they're running two, do you put the name of it as well?).  what about end dates, is that where you'd put it too - on the name of the passcard?

Do you save the instant wins to the logins too?

I enter for my hubby frequently, since it fills and send my info, how do I get it to change to fill and send his?  I've got him as an identity and all, just wondering.

So just to make sure I've got this right (before I do too many!)...I pull up a sweeps (to save the first time)...fill out the info but don't submit, instead, click on logins, click new, and type name & info, and save and close.  Is that all there is to it basically?  Also, does it matter if I password protect each one or not...it's a pain to have to uncheck that box.  I do log into roboform each day, will that cover all of those that I left the checkbox in?

Also, on some forms, for instance, the SITV ones, roboform never fills out my year of birth...so I manually put it in (drop down menu).  What I'm wondering is, before I save it to logins, and I'm initially filling out the form, and I put my birthyear, will the login automatically save this so that each time I enter and just click on the SITV tab in logins, it will include my birthyear?  Or is this one of the examples where I need to just not put it in logins?

Thanks for any help!

I save mine like this:

Sweepstakes Advantage, Glass Chest Set, 01-10-08, Daily
Sweepstakes Advantage, Little Lamb, 01-10-08, Daily

Instants should be saved also just like any sweepstakes.

Note:  Save everything "after" you fill it out correctly.

To save, you click on "Save" on the toolbar, name it, and save it after you first filled it in correctly.

Roboform will save the form exactly the way you filled it and and fill it out that way thereafter.

All sweepstakes should be saved as passcards.

You can make separate files for weekly's, monthly's, and odd entry's.

Thanks for your help - you are awesome!  This clears it up for me quite a bit...but I thought I read in one of these threads that you click on logins to access them?  Is there a different between logins and passcards?

Once they're saved, and you start entering from the list of passcards.  You click on "Logins" then on the passcard's name one by one starting at the begining of the list.  I keep four open windows to go back and forth between in case any take more than a few seconds to submit so I can click on the next on in the meantime.

I'm really, really enjoying entering this way - wow I got thru them fast this morning!

I do have a couple of questions (if you'd be so kind once again!)...

On the dailygame sweeps, I noticed that when I enter thru Roboform, they don't give me the "thank you for entering" message, but when I do them regular, they do...are they really being submitted okay?  I'm concerned.

also, I've figured out how to enter myself if all of the ones I have saved in passcards, but if I want to enter hubby the same way , how do I go about that?

Actually I have a third question too...the sweeps that have a "enter here" button on first page and you click it to get to form...can you do those on the Roform passcards too (from the 2nd page - entry form)?  Or you you manually have to click "enter here" on the first page and then do normal way (not roboform passcards)?

Thanks!

Are any Woman's Day?

They're not going through.  You will have to create a "force submit".  Next time, just do a "go and fill" instead of a "go and submit".  After the form has filled out correctly, hold down the "alt" key while manually clicking on "Submit".  This should fix that problem.

I would just make a separate passcard with the husband's info in it.

If you can't save it from the actual entry form like the "AAA" ones, you can create a second page passcard for it by cloning the first saved name, saving it (which isn't yet saving that page), then save it again to the new passcard.  I just add a "(1)" to the end of the new page passcard.  Some forms might just fill out correcting from your login information.  On the ones that do that, I just right click on my name on the toolbar and do a "fill and submit".

I created a special passcard for WD that finally works after lots of trial and error. The secret was to go into the Edit function and eliminate the field for search. No matter what I did it wouldn't go through otherwise. I'm still having the same problem with the Elle sweep and Rachel Ray no autosubmitting properly.

I'm  a newbie...does roboform need a particular requirement in terms of computer specs  (e.g.memory)? I am not computer savvy, not even sure if my /security /anti-virus is updated...will that pose problems?

Sweepyhead - thanks for the info!  Did you edit and eliminate both search fields (there's one at top and one at bottom - both were filled in)...thanks...I'm trying to do this too  Smile

I think I eliminated the one on the top, but both can probably be whacked because you're not searching.

Nothing special needed... download the free version and try that out for awhile, if you like it, upgrade to the paid version... it's great....

This morning I tried entering my dailies using dark's method. It will take a bit of practice to work up to peak speed. Previously, I was keeping dailies in folders, which is why I couldn't load them to auto enter without closing the screen. It was vexing because I didn't know what the trouble was. Now I use the keyboard shortcut and load the pages into tabs.

Any more tips?

Sounds good to me! sunny  I should have the rest of this junk around here put back away after over a year of rennovations.  You ever notice how easy it is to pack things up and how hard it is to get things unpacked again! scratch

Do you have a wireless zone in your house? I would bring my laptop.

I began using Robo without even knowing how to use my computer, as I'm a Mac user. There was a lot for me to learn on both ends.

Yeah, I feel your pain with the renov's. Doing lots of that here. Costing me lotsa $$$.

No, we don't use wireless; and I just use a laptop for travelling to check emails and keep my sweeps current.  I really don't like working on a laptop.  So, I just use the hotel's internet connection.

The wireless zone FIOS gives me via the router is excellent. I don't have a modem.

I sweep on a Toshiba satellite laptop with a big screen, mouse and a wireless antenna plugged into the USB port. I'm going to be enhancing my Macbook to run XP and buy Robo 2 Go. I don't feel confident having only one computer with my Robo info as it took a lot of work to build it up.

You can also backup your passcards to a disk.  I also have Robo2Go on USB where I copy them to.

After reading this I also have a question.

I would rather not use the passcards so how do I get them from popping up every single time.
I would like to only use the autofill part of program.

Thank you for your time, effort, help and information.   Smile

If you enter sweeps directly from passcards, you will be able to enter the sweeps much quicker than just using the autofill.  Second, what is popping up is not passcards.  Passcards do not pop up, and you have to have saved sweepstakes forms to Roboform in order to have passcards.  You have to set the defaults to the way you want them, and that includes telling Roboform not to ask you (in popups) to password protect, etc.

You can backup your passcards to a floppy in case something happens to them on your USB.  If you want them on your laptop, you're going to have to download Roboform Pro.

But what if my Robo2Go breaks on my USB and I have to buy a new one?  HOw do I prove to the Roboform customer service that I already had it?  That's what I mean.  Is Robo2go forever no matter what since I already paid for that version?
