I rarely have problems with SA, but when I do, admin has suggested:
When this happens just close your web browser and re-open. You should at this point get redirected to a good web server
As an alternative to force this change for stubborn isp's you can use open DNS which is a free dns service separate from your ISP. Here is the site. https://www.opendns.com/start/computer/Quote from: sweepsadv on March 19, 2009, 02:32:17 PM
Every so often someone may have trouble getting to SA. If its a widespread problem we will post about it on our new Blog site www.sweepstakesforme.com . This new blog site is hosted on a separate network and should always be available in the event that SA is down. We are also going to start posting sweepstakes articles there.
Please clear your temporary files and restart your computer. If is still
does not work try using this free proxy.
http://www.guardster.com/subscription/proxy_free.php
Just type our url in and it will redirect you to a framed page with us in
it. It loads a litte slower.. fyi
If this works it may be a problem with your computer or web browser
configuration as the proxy will most often bypass these things.I take it a step further:
I clear cookies/temp files and reboot, after I ensure all my progs are updated.
hth, hang in there, amy
