From Civil strife to Desert Storm
I left my home so safe & warm
To Keep our Country safe from harm
For I am a Marine

I left my mother, though she cried
And every battle fought with pride
Sometimes I lived, sometimes I died
And I am named Marine

We gave our all to the Corps
Always we were first ashore
In every battle, every war
The United States Marine

For Justice I did learn to be
"Marine" was my identity
On land, in air, o'er shining sea
I'll always be Marine

For your Freedom I did fight
With sword & rifle through the night
God, grace me with your Holy Light
This Man they call Marine

Everything I gave for you
In Service of Red, White & Blue
Always Faithful, Always True
I am Proud to be Marine
