How in the hell did this slip under my radar! It looks like a sequel to the horror adapted video game ‘Silent Hill’ is going to get made. I am a huge fan of the video game, and I thought the movie did a pretty darn good job bringing that nightmare from hell to life. I hoped they would do a sequel, and I heard nothing regarding it actually happening until today.

Screenwriter Brett Easton Ellis, who recently wrote the awful film ‘The Informers’, gave an interview, and during the interview he was asked if director Roger Avery is still attached to develop a film called ‘Glamorama’ , Ellis reply’s with this:

“He’s going to be shooting Silent Hill 2. As far as ‘Glamorama’, it’s just very hard to get the money to make it.”

There is no other mention of it in the interview! That’s it, that’s all we get, but it is enough information to get me excited for a ‘Silent Hill 2′ film. Roger Avery is a pretty talented guy who has written films such as ‘Pulp Fiction’, ‘The Rules of Attraction’, the first ‘Silent Hill’, and ‘Beowulf’.

They really nailed that insane atmosphere in the first movie. I can’t wait to see where they take this twisted hellish story next. Did you like the first Silent Hill movie? Are you a fan of the game? Do you want to see a sequel?

No.. YES! No..    laughing

I haven't played the games, but I might as well have! My husband and sons played all of them and I would have to sit and watch. Since I have a better memory, I would memorize the maps and puzzles and stuff. We've done that with all the Silent Hill Games and Resident Evil games. It's a good way to spend time together at least! But I enjoyed the games and the movie was really good except the ending didn't thrill me. I'm looking forward to the next movie, which I had heard nothing about either...

Silent hill has the best puzzles. My favorites are the piano one from the first silent hill and the doll puzzle from origins. The doll one was easy I just thought it was really cool.    laughing

Playing games are a family affair here too.  popcorn
