My mom just called to tell me my sister was in a car crash and the truck she was driving as well as the car the other person is driving is totalled. She said that they were on the way to drop her DH off at camp since he has to work tomorrow (Marine) and the lady driving the car started to hydroplane. The lady and her passenger is injured, so far I am told my sister and her dh is ok. Please keep them all in your prayers.

If anyone knows how bad I-5 is in CA. then you can imagine how this might have looked.

What a hell of a day, my brother has a baby a few hours ago and my sister gets in a wreck. I am so far from all of them, what are the odds that all of this would happen within the time that I have been gone? My brother rolled his SUV last year not long after I moved into this house. I give!!!  I have to get out there this summer some how to visit, this is insane.

I am glad your sister and her husband are ok and I will pray for the other vehicles passengers. I know how hard it must be for you to be away from your family but you are where you are meant to be right now. I bet a visit to CA. will be nice for you.

Thank you Lord for watching over Miki's family and give Miki peace in her heart for those she loves and for her Amen

Thank you Cin. You know, I am quite happy and more at peace with living here. My husband and I are doing much, much better than we ever have after spending a 1/2 year apart with no physical contact in 2006 and it is beautiful out here. Not rushed like it was in California. There are so many great qualities (some bad) about my new location.

I do get upset about not being able to see them but, I know I couldn't stand to live there. I would be miserable constantly. I think a visit would help, especially to see my brother, meet his wife and my new niece. I was closest to my little brother, I connected with him more than anyone.

I haven't heard anything else about everyone involved in the wreck except, I did see pictures of the truck damage. I pray her injuries wasn't serious.

Thank you again Cin, I really appreciate your prayers. Sometimes, I feel so overwhelmed.

I am glad that your sister and her passenger are going to be allright! I live right off of I-5 in Calfornia, and I know that it has claimed many victims and is notorious for accidents. Good luck to you and your family

Only thing I can say..........

If everyone is okay - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!   Take time to really think about how lucky they are.

Best of luck with things. Time to play the lottery... Smile

Literally just got wife's SUV back today after being repaired from an accident. She and baby were fine, which was what mattered most. Other folks involved were okay, too.
