I thought it would be a good idea to post gosweepwin's post about site etiquette here as well.  Please remember, this is the Winner's Circle where members come to share their good news.  SA is the best!  I am so impressed at how truly happy everyone is when some one else wins!  That's what makes SA a great community.

Quote from: "gosweepwin"
Good morning Sweepers!  As we start a new month of winning, I just wanted to take a moment to address what has been a hot topic lately - site etiquette.

Here at SA, we encourage you to make the most of the site and participate in the Forum discussions.  Assume that the people you are talking with are like coworkers with whom you have a comfortable relationship.  We like to keep it friendly!

Please, feel free to talk about sweeping, offer sweep hints, make site suggestions, ask for help, post your wins, congratulate other winners, tell us if you discover a new sweep, chat with other sweepers, ask for help with voting contests, encourage others, and so on.  You can talk as much as you want, offer unlimited suggestions, and express differing viewpoints.  As long as posts are appropriate and respectful of others, no problem!

For most of us, this seems pretty obvious.

Sometimes, however, someone will show up and post things designed to agitate our members.  Although it's fine to disagree with someone, what we don't want to see is an attack.  You will not be welcome here if you abuse our members, post nasty or libelous comments about our Administrator, or make derogatory remarks about SA.  If you want to trade insults about the site, take it elsewhere.  Also, please think twice before posting negative remarks about any of the contest sponsors, or competing websites.

We want to keep SA fun and lively.  Our members are a great bunch of people who make SA a pleasure to visit!  Thanks, everyone, for being an important part of a wonderful online community.  Now, go win something!

Great idea. The first thing I do when I log on is check the Winner's Circle. I've already seen this in another forum, but it's good to see this when I come on. Maybe this should be a sticky in here, too?

Great Idea. I too check the winners circle first thing, I get a kick out of every ones wins. It's great to hear about them. Even if your in a slump, which happens to every one eventually. Any one that has something negative to say should keep it to themselves. We are all happy little campers here, lets keep it this way. Life is way to short for negativity. :D

was using another site before i came to sa. Have much more fun and loads of wins since i came to sa 2 years ago. other sweepers have given me advice and been helpful. we all go through dry spells but we don't need sour grapes, just keep the positive attitude-that's what makes us winners.

Even though I've been a member for about 6 months, I don't post much because of several bad experiences I've had in the past with message boards and forums (will not mention any names or websites); there are a lot of people out there who thrive on creating chaos through message boards/forums and actually seem to enjoy it.  Unfortunately, because of the experiences I've had, I feel reluctant to become part of any forum, but I think I might give this one a try...seems VERY friendly and I love that members support one another and feel good about each other's wins.  I myself have one several small prizes since I started sweeping, but I'm still waiting for the big one!  Patience, patience.  I only have time to sweep an average of 2 hours a day, but I do my best.  Thanks to SA and all the members who make this a friendly, enjoyable site.

I too really enjoy reading about my fellow sweeper's wins and passing on a quick 'congratulations' or 'that's awesome' to the winner.

When I'm on a dry spell (like now), reading other people's wins in the Winner's Circle does a lot to help keep me motivated and continue playing. Seeing other people win lets me know that I too will win the 'big-one' in due time.....and that dry spells don't last forever.

Happy sweeping everybody !

I give up on the Crunch bar!  If it isn't bad enough that I can't win one, those pictures are frightening!  Worse when you combine the two faces!  I have nightmares of them chasing One Ton!

I have seen some of the not so nice posts and can only say shame on them.  This is a GREAT SITE and the members are wonderful, it is always nice to get some congrats when you win and support when you need it!!! I have only been a member for a few months and have won some really wonderful stuff (the best was the Dell 23" TV that I am watching now).  It is sad when people get jealous and can not be happy for the people who win.

I LOVE SA AND ITS MEMBERS ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!!!!!!

The winner's circle threads are great to read. I love hearing of others wins! Anyways, it gets me pumped up and ready to enter my sweeps for the day.

Why would anyone want to post mean comments? It just makes themselves look ugly, not to mention the negative karma!!

I love the winner's circle too.  It's the first thing I read when I log on to the site.  I think this site is great!  Very friendly people and tons of info.  Whenever I get extra time I explore all the forums, came across the recipe one last night, YUM!  Again, this site is wonderful and anyone who has anything negative to say doesn't belong here, that's for sure. :D

Without all these happy posts in the WINNER's CIRCLE would we all be so dedicated in persuing our wants and dreams?

I like the Winners Circle posts to see if anyone wins from particular sweeps sites. For instance, when all the Caffeine powered ones showed up.

Hey, it can also give you ideas for trades if someone won a prize you really wanted... Smile

I think it's just great, how much everyone, (almost everyone), is so proud of their winnings. Anything from a pat on the back to $1,000,000,000,000,000,etc.
I've been a member since July 29, 07, and have only won one prize. Hey, I don't care. I'm having fun!
A lot of you haven't won anything. Don't give up. I didn't get my first win until January 08.  Just hang in there. If the contest says, enter every day, then enter every day!  GOOD LUCK!  Now, stop reading this and go win something!
