Anyone count the Snow People in the Saks contest

http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/go.php?id=142729

Saksfifthavenue.Com - Snow People Hunt Sweepstakes
Enter to win a 21 day Antarctic Adventure.3 day/2 night trip for two to Buenos Aries, Argentina plus a 17 day cruise for two to Antarctica, and $10,000. ARV 52,000.00
Restrictions : 21+ US,DC | Limit : 1 Per Person *To Enter go back and count The Snowpeople you find! | Added : 11-21-07 | Expires : 12-10-2007 | Hits : 28 | Rules

According to rules, correct answer is required.

If we split up the 181 page catalog amongst ourselves, we can separately check some pages and others can confirm counts on those pages and we can try to come up with the correct answer....  with some feeling of correctness....

Im a little confused by this one. are we supposed to count the ones that are in the ornaments like on pages 4-5 ? or just the 3. also what about page 6-7. does that count as one?

Okay, there are 182 pages since it starts at 0.... but it seems like we can break it down to 91 sets of 2...

For 6-7, I agree with the 1

For 4-5, I'd say there are lots more than 3 there

I haven't counted yet.

I was thinking of counting the words "snowpeople" literally... Smile

I think it's all snowpeople including images.  If you look through carefully, there are images in the mirror, in paintings hanging up, in photo frames etc...  I don't think they're there just to be there.  I counted a total of 229.  Good luck all!!  My eyes got tired and make sure to look w/ the zoom.

I only came up with 227.... on pages 4-5 there are a 39 not just my count but if you look at the writing at the bottom of page 4 it tells you how many snow men are on that page and that gives you a clue of how you are supposed to count... which my inturpertation is every doggone snow man... but I did not count a pair of earrings on page 29 that are snowman shaped as they are merchandise... could be wrong on that...

I was about to mention the same thing.  I'm in the middle of counting right now.  I'll let you know what I come up with.

My advice is to read the directions and hints very carefully . You should be counting "abstracty" snowpeople as well as snowpeople shadows. Read the short little snowpeople story and you'll find the hints I've just mentioned and more. I wouldn't fail to add any snowpeople in any form to the final count. Looks like everyone is going to have to use their own best judgement on this one.
