I was banned without cause, warning or explanation at The Other Site, and 6 months of my membership was stolen from me as well. I have been very miffed about it all month, but I'm starting to feel more comfortable here, and find I like the community just as well.
I'm looking forward to watching this site grow, and being a part of the action. :D

it is a very laid back and active site here with friendly people that just want to win something, the important thing is feeling like you belong and that the people are nice. I have alway's like the site because the people do have a voice as to what they would like to see changed and the admin take every thing in to consideration as to whether or not it will help the site and make it user friendly as well. good luck -- Lee  |

Yes, I feel this site is run without arrogance or fear, and I love the constant updates from the site-runner. It just keeps getting better and better. 8)

:D It's kinda like new shoes. They get more comfortable the more you wear them. So happy to hear that you are feeling more at ease with us. Please don't hesitant to make any suggestions that you feel would make things easier. Ken is always eager to please.

Sweepy, the anger goes away and turns into pity for the ignorance over there.
I for one am glad you found your way here. I have found this site to be full of fun loving, laughter giving people, that are genuinely excited for you when you win.
The admin listens and tries to implement changes quickly.
Are there some things that the other site offers that this one doesn't. Maybe a few. Maybe they even have a few more sweeps. But, as far as customer service and site features go, SA has come full circle in the two years I have been actively sweeping. I started here, went there and then came back here. I am so glad a did. It was amazing what Ken and Diane did in a year's time.
The one thing that really stands out to me here is that members are truly appreciated. Also, there are no secrets and lies. Admin encourages us to click on affiliates and ads because that is how this site earns money. Also, the member sweeps help the site earn money. I am happy to click on a banner or enter a sweep to help here. It's easy and it is honestly put out there.
SA is a great place to sweep and one I am happy to be a part of. After the way I was ridiculed over there, I was amazed at how graciously I was accepted here. Admin and GSW were well aware of what happened over there and they reserved judgment on us until they got to know us. Now they all know that I am nothing more than an airhead! :lol: That to me says a lot.
Again, Sweepy, I am so glad you are here and finding your way around. I look forward to seeing more of your posts in the forums! :D

I got banned from the "other place" today. I'm not sure why but it's probably better for me.
I have been lurking around here, off and on, for a few weeks. Once I acclimate myself to your style, I'm sure that I will love it.
I want to thank all of the former members of the "other place" for steering me here.

drjohn - I'm sad you had to find out the hard way that speaking as an adult, with legitimate concerns would be your ticket out, but as I told sweepy, you are much better off, and in a place that won't judge you.
Sorry for the run-on - particularly bad pain day and had to take numerous sophorics to dull the pain - unfortunately, they dull the mind as well :roll:
What I mean to say is WELCOME to SA drjohn!!! The irony that those I really noticed, and liked/admired, are one by one arriving here.
Proves out my theory - play dumb and stay - show your intellect and get booted out the door with a nary a word as to why - which speaks volumes about them.

You did exactly what I did. You spoke up about things. You have a mind of your own and are not afraid to speak it. I am sorry it got you banned. I know I enjoyed your posts while I was there. The only thing this site does't offer is shazam and a bunch of forum bs. I have noticed more life in the forums here since the membership has grown. The people here are nice and fun loving. We do to! There are several "missing" members and I miss their input also ~ trinastanton is still recovering, krisamark is still having personal problems, krazytheklown is MIA, the Bear is busy. I hope everyone gets back before the Christmas contests starts!!
