I'd like to know about some really weird wins.I did see a post on here one time I think,some guy won a goat!! I think the Skinny Cow sweep giving away bras last year was kind of weird.I got one tho..lol! The win doesn't even have to be from SA..just something you won that is odd/strange/uncommon.Please share all the gory details!!

 I think the oddest was an all metal thing (never could figure out what it was for) man wearing a construction hat hanging from a girder. I think it was from Super Glue. Very odd! Of course the cardboard container for popcorn was also a little strange. You just know sometimes that the postage was more than the item was worth.

When you mention the postage thing,I think of the pig or chicken erasers that were shipped in a bubble pouch from Tyson! You KNOW the eraser was worht about 10 cents...lol!!!

I won a bag of MiracleGro, and thought it was funny when a big box arrived with the actual bag, not a coupon. I didn't know dh used it, and a short time later a section of our veggie garden grew inches higher and wider! It really was like magic, almost overnight. It felt good to finally win something he didn't laugh at! Now he's a convert to MiracleGro but not to sweeps. The dental floss is funny but at least it doesn't expire! My strangest win is probably a year's supply of Claritan. Not coupons, but a box full of Claritan. No way I could use it all or give it away before it expired. Unfortunately, these wins happen sometimes when you are trying for a great GP. The joys of sweeping! |

LOL, I was expecting a coupon for a normal size box when I won the "free oatmeal" from a quaker IW game last year too... Instead, giant box of 50 packs of instant oatmeal shows up on the porch. Guess what I've been eating for breakfast every day :P My mom's strangest was a recent one. She won a frozen mushroom ravioli dinner for 2 from a restaurant in Oregon (that was apparently the meal Bella had on her first date with Edward, signed by one of the Twilight cast members... didn't really care, entered it because, hey, free food!) that was then cold packed and shipped frozen overnight. |
