 cry

So I'm shopping in the thrift store, I find this huge amazing spongebob blanket. Kailey freaks out, because she loves spongebob, so were like ok cool were gonna buy this. I couldn't find a price tag on it, but there was one laying near it. So I assumed thats the tag. Well I get up to pay for it. And she said, "I'm gonna really hate doing this." But theres no tag on it, so you can't buy it. It will need to be repriced, and you can come buy it tommorrow. OMG I was in shock. Come on just let me buy it now. I begged. She wouldn't. Kailey was really upset. So the lady took the blanket, and put it behind the counter.  OH well. Maybe I can get Rocky to go up there and buy it tommorrow. I will be out work. Hopefully no one will get it before he does.
She also got a big stuffed dog that looks like the alaskin husky dog. She says its the dog from snow buddies. lol.   And then I got a tye dyed shirt for Rocky.

I really want that blanket!! You'd think they would be so happy just to sell something. Ugh.

Poor Kailey! I have run into that at the Salvation Army. (Am I allowed to say that, oh, well I just did) They were cool about it , though. The girl got a manager and a price. Granted, they MIGHT have wanted me out of the store. She didn't instantly take that action. They tried to do what yours did and I made some noise and....... Ha! I got it anyway!! Here's hoping Kailey gets hers!! headbang

I really like the thrift store, they have amazing prices, and lots of variety of things. I get Rocky alot of tshirts there. I've gotten him in the past...two star wars tshirts for like $1.79 each.  And alot of christian shirts for cheap.

I got this one tshirt I thought was cute, it had all the marvel comics superheros and they were sitting around a table playing poker.  I showed it to Rocky, and he said, UMmmm no I dont want that. So I don't know what I'm going to do with it.

I've run into that issue also at the thrift stores. Most times, the girls at the register are just like, "How about we charge $3.99 for this" and I say sure whatever. Even if they overcharge me for it, it's still cheaper than I would find in any store. And there's a huge sign that says anything without a tag has to go back to their warehouse so I'm just happy that they let me buy whatever it is that doesn't have a tag so I don't really care what they charge me. I kind of understand why they do that because people change price tags and try to get stuff cheaper and claim that it didn't have a tag so they don't have to pay whatever the original price was but it makes me mad that it affects my bargain shopping laughing I hope  you get your blanket.

Whoo hooo I got it!!!! Rocky went up and said he couldn't find it. And he went home.  That made me mad, so I got off work and went up there.

It wasn't out, so I asked one of the workers, they looked in the back and said it was still being priced. I waited about 14 mins and then the lady brings out this rack of blankets. I spot the spongebob one, and I grab it off before she can even finish getting out the door. lol.
They upped the price i think though. IT was $14 , But if I had bought it brand new it would be $27  (at walmart). Well I brought it home and am washing it now. Kailey will be so excited when she sees it. Smile
