manually overtype the MM, DD and YYYY fields, . But it didn't make sense to me, as I used
to work as a mainframe programmer/analyst (no, I wasn't fired, I retired!) - surely they had to test it!
Well, I decided instead of typing the birthdate in manually I would use the pulldown menus to select the dates,
which to me is inefficient - and it worked! So I had another sweeps doing the same thing and voila, it worked
again! Further testing on the Adult Swim sweeps form showed it wasn't the YYYY field causing the problem, it
was at least definitely the DD field - even entering 9 instead of 09 did not work, I had to use the up arrow to
select the 9 to make it work.
So the next time you have this problem, try entering your birthdate using only the pulldown menus and see if that
works - why these programmers are sometimes so stupid I have no idea!
