My answer
- Yes, it is worth it to me.
- There are a lot of free contests and sweeps on SA as you said. The same contests and sweeps are listed on both SA and SP. You don't see additional contests or sweeps on SP.
- The contests on Plus are special internal "Members Only" contests run by the Admins. If you are a SP member you can enter.
Your second question, "How long does it take to activate once you receive my money order"
My SP account was activated immediately. (I used paypal.)
So, the sweeps listings are free at SA and are the same listings as SP. Why sign up for SP then?
---There are additional tools and features that you will find on SP (for example, you can make your own customized lists of sweeps, there are no pop-up ads...), plus for only 8 cents per day, you can show your support for this great site, which could, but does not charge for all the listings, tools, features etc. which are already existing and constantly upgraded.

Definitely worth the $30 if you enter a lot of sweeps. I have been using Sweepstakes Plus for about 8 months, and it's so convenient to be able to create your own folders and divide up your Sweeps in the way that works for you. I've found it a huge time saver, and as we all know: 'more sweeps in less time = more wins!' Go for it, it's definitely worth the money. Also, these are good hard-working people here at SA, who deserve our support.
For example, they could have chosen the greedy path and given the paying section access to a larger data base than the free section, the way some site do. Instead they chose the honorable path, with the same data base for all and just pay for more features if you want to.
