There are a lot of winners. I would say that 99% are from the west coast, primarily CA and AZ. If you entered this contest, I can check for your name.

Hi! I don't remember for sure entering that one, but I usually enter all of the ones that have lots of winners and I'm in CA, so I guess it's worth a look. It would be either me or hubby, Tangie C or Adam C in California Thanks so much for offering to look

I remember that one! It was a snail mail that ended December 25, 2007. I sent in lots of entries. Are they just now naming the winners? It had several different participating divisions mostly on the west coast as it was run thru the Safeway Store.
Please check my name:: Pamela Murphy Coos Bay Oregon
1. Safeway.com - Rancher’s Reserve Ultimate Holiday Gift Sweepstakes Grand Prize (3) $100,000 {awarded in the form of a check}. First Prize (5) $20,000 {awarded in the form of a check}. Second Prize (20) $5,000 {awarded in the form of a check}. Third Prize (100) $1,000 {awarded in the form of a check}. Fourth Prize (1,000) a $100 Safeway Inc. gift card. To enter by mail, hand print your name, Club Card number (optional), age, complete address, including zip code and day time telephone number on a plain 3” by 5” card and mailing your entry in a stamped envelope to: Rancher’s Reserve Ultimate Holiday Gift Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 7979, Melville, NY 11775-7979. Restrictions : 18+ US | Hits : 451 | Added : 11-28-07 | Expired : 12-25-2007 | Rules

I checked the list and I didn't see any of your names. It took them a while to finish this sweeps. I also sent in a lot of entries and I'm wondering if they included our alternate entries in the sweeps. Also, there were no winners in GA.
Back in May, I was told that they didn't begin processing the winners for the Reward Yourself with Ranchers Reserve sweep.

Oh I remember this one and have been wondering about it too! There were so, so many winners.
Can you please check for:
J. Regan Pleasant Hill, CA M. Regan Pleasant Hill, CA
and if you would be so kind to check for my friends who I know entered too:
T. Sylvester Martinez, CA J. Bianchi Visalia, CA D. Campbell Pacheco, CA
Thank you so, so much!
Gee, I hope they did include our alternate entries!

I didn't see any of the names you listed.
I called Don Jagoda and asked about this promotion. The winners were randomly selected by computer. They received 68,000 snail mail entries and they were all keyed into the computer. However, all entries aren't treated equally. They predetermine how many they are going to select from automatic entries and alternate entries. For example, if there are 1000 prizes they may take 900 from the automatic entry (purchase, online, etc.) and 100 from alternate entries. It could be even less than that. If I see Don J. as a judging agency, I may not send in as many alternate entries.

I didn't see your name. There was only one winner from WI and none from MN.

I know I'm new here but would you please check for me, too? It's wonderful of you to do this for everyone and I really appreciate it. I have only ever entered a few mail-ins because I never seem to win them. I thank the poster for the info about Don J., as well...I know now not to waste my postage/time on those.
Were there any winners in Illinois? Specifically either Bensenville or Chicago ( I also moved. )
Thank you so very much.

Thanks so much for checking. I can't believe that's how they do it. Thanks for taking the time to call them. It seems to me they should do half and half to be fair. That sure is disappointing.

WINNERS: Kenneth Staub-Chicago; Geri L Benson-Bensenville $100 Gift Card
I'm going to call Don J. again because I thought all entries were supposed to be treated equally. Thus, the "no purchase required" to be able to enter. One sweeper seems to think that some judging agencies are using inexperienced people to handle the sweeps. I'll keep everyone posted. By the way, they are still working on the Reward Yourself with Ranchers Reserves sweeps that ended in Feb/Mar.

Thank you so much, beautiful4k, for checking for me. You are an ( Not a winner, btw ). And thank you again for tackling Don J.! I totally agree - I would assume EVERY entry had an equal chance.
