Wow!  laughing

This is going to be one heck of a series!  It was everything I hoped it would be and more.  I'm a little surprised CBS is airing something like this, though.  While there isn't any nudity you do see couples in suggestive positions.  REALLY suggestive positions!  It looks like it's only going to get better.

Anyone else watching?  popcorn

A soap?  That's blasphemy!  laughing

Quoted from CBS:

Quote
As American celebrates the bicentennial, Susan and Bruce Miller move their family to an affluent Chicago suburb. They are not only welcomed to the chick neighborhood, but also the social and sexual revolution prevailing throughout the decade. They find out that their neighbors share more than a view of Lake Michigan. Initially bewildered by their new surroundings, Susan and Bruce come to realize that their promiscuous neighbors present a tantalizing offer that may provide the excitement their marriage craves.

headbang I watched it last nite. I loved going back to the 70's, listening to the music. The show brings back lots of memories to me. I remember that lots of couple were into swinging. No, I wasn't one of them!  laughing Although I had several friends that were. The 70's was certainly a great fun time for everyone whether they were swingers or not.
Swingtown is a nighttime soap opera. Kind of like the modern day Dallas or Falcon Crest.

I guess I can live with that description, however, it's nothing like daytime soaps which are crap.  I figured it was more like a drama series.

It starts out on July 4th, 1976.  I was 3 months old  laughing

Swingtown's already getting a bunch of flack from what I can see(read) over @ CBS.  I don't understand...if one doesn't like it why doesn't one just change the channel  scratch
